Some context might help, this EP, called Clear, was kind of a writing experiment by Periphery. The first song sets a motif that all the other songs use, but each song has been written separately by a member of the band.
So that song was written by Mark Holcomb, one of the guitarists in the band. The song is actually just called Pale Aura.

This one was written by the singer, Spencer Sotelo. It's an interesting idea and surprising how different all the songs sound, goes to show how radically different their influences are.
