I have far too many ritualistuc tendecies to even begin listing, but one I'll share is: I have a .txt file I use to write down any thoughts of mine (below .txt) and the rest of it (above), I use for the funk. It's been open everyday since 3-16-2011 and is up to 614KB, please keep in mind that this is a .txt file. I fill this about 3-5x this much space per day (the image below) writing down names of funk songs that appeal to me and also notes. It works by the artist first, and anything indented past it is the song name, or notes about the song. Any new line that is not indented is a new band/song name. I get most of the songs from six online radios that I frequent, among other sources. The notes are usually reminding me to look something about the song up, like the person who arranged x instrument for the song, or who produced the song, so in turn I can look up all of their credentials of other songs they might have worked on, because it's likely those are also great. I also space out and emphasize words based on how they make me feel. I end up with so many things to research that I'm left with hundreds of tabs, which in turn forces me to create Bookmarks of Sessions I've had, so I have dozens of 'Bookmark Sessions' each containing hundreds of tabs pertaining to this stuff that I have to keep track of. I cycle probably every few minutes through these online radios like a tick, it really is frustrating sometimes because I can't help myself from checking them over and over, because I feel like any moment I might not check the greatest funk song ever might be playing and I might have missed it, so yea I'm constantly checking them.
open laptop open chrome do stuff open gmod bleh. also what is this rebooting thing you people are talking about? what does this term "shutting down" stand for :downs:
- Turn on computer, speakers and monitor (durr) - Click on the Steam icon on the taskbar to bring up the friends list (default window) and see who's online. If any irl friends are online I'll probably start talking to them - Open IE which defaults to Facebook and check whats been happening there, and feel sad when I realise everyone has a better life than me (or at least make out that they do) - When I'm done there I go to Facepunch and then open the Mass Debate, Sensationalist Headlines and News Node sub-forums. Cry when I realise I visit Facepunch every day
- Open Chrome - Open Facepunch, YouTube and Facebook
