I just type normal but not professionally like how people would have their fingers on asdf and jkl; keys.

That's basically what I do too.
It doesn't work most of the time. :(
My fingers lay on whatever they hit last.
My resting keys: a(w,s)(e,d)f jkl;
Also I type on my ipod with both thumbs or my right index finger

It's a legitimate strategy.
Left pinky on the shit key. Left thumb over space. Left fingers poised over ASDF, Right hand floating, looking for keys that my left hand is too lazy to move for.
I just type, don't look.

Basically my style of typing. I glance between the monitor and the keyboard. I don't position my hands at all, I just let 'em go hit whatever keys are required.
My hands fly around and eventually hit shit. I used to be slow with my random flails but I nail out a ton of wpm.
peck typing with every finger except the right pinky.(dunno why though)
