My dad told me that my grandfather was in Waffen SS...
My grandfather on my mother's side was. He was Indian, and wasn't entirely keen on his daughter marrying a white guy. Not sure what he thought of me.
Nope.
me, my parents, and my grandparents all make racist jokes, but none of us actually hate other races.
My real Grandparents (Who I only knew when I was really young) who are asshole redneck morons, just like my Father, probably are. Lucky for me I don't ever have to see them or my father again. My Grandparents on my stepfathers side are just awesome. My Grandpa (I'll just refer to them as normal grandparents to save time) is dead, but I remember I was really close to him when I was younger, and he wasn't racist, and my Grandma (we call her Gigi) is far too sweet to be racist. My Mothers side aren't either, from what I can tell. I don't see them much anymore though.
Not that I know of. They and their kids are surprisingly tolerant and realistic about race, despite being rich white people.
My dad is racist I think he makes the jokes and takes the piss out of gays. (Who doesnt)
My grandma on my mom side is, well a little bit. Why is facepunch's stereo-type of republicans that we are all racist? I'm a republican and I'm not racist at all. The only reason I don't like Obama is because of his political views. I would be perfectly fine with Condalesa Rice as president. IMO Obama is a bunch of talk and not a lot of DO, he's good at running for election and thats about it. BUT that's InMyOpinion
My grandparents from the British/Irish side... Not really. My grandparents from the Polish/German side... Yeah pretty much. I can't blame em' though... Live in Buffalo's Ghetto for to long, and you go nutty.

My grandparents aren't racist but my grandmother isn't fond of people being in the U.S. and not being able to speak English.
My grandad was a marine in the Korean war, so anyone with "slant" eyes is hated by him. and those "Goddamn Jap cars" and those "Goddamn Jap boat motors" My grandmom is just a white woman, she locks her doors when she sees colored folk
My Grandfather shot an unarmed gang-banger in the head with a .45 behind a local bar right by my house in Vermont because the banger said "what the fuck you looking at whitey". He was praised as a public hero and did no time in jail because about 16 redneck motherfuckers back him up saying it was self-defense, about 4 of those guys were cops. He was an Army Ranger during World War II if that counts for anything. I thought it was awesome. edit: I'm not fucking kidding
Not really, no. My grandmother mother on my father's side perhaps, but it's very minor and probably stems from not thinking rather than illicit hate. My dad and his brothers, save for maybe my uncle Brian are kinda racist. Everyone is very tolerant of gays though.
My grandparents are a pretty nice couple.
My grandmother once told me that when they saw black folk they called them niggers.
Extremely. Most Philadelphians are
My grandpa is mostly racist, but humourously racist. When I was like 15, this is what he said to asian drivers. "GO TO HELL YA' COMMIE BASTARDS!" "GO BACK TO THE RICE PADDY EGGROLLS!" Now this what he said to people that annoyed him "GO EAT A CHURRO AND SMOKE COCAINE CHOLO!" "OOH I'M SCARED, YOU GONNA SHOOT ME WITH DEM TOMMY GUNS?" Ironically, his last words were: "Tell everybody I told off I'm sorry." then he passed away. I miss him :crying:
Yes, my grandfather hated 'them nigs' to his grave, it was hilarious.
My remaining Grandfather (and also the only grandparent I every really got to know), is one of the most tolerant people I know. He has nothing against anyone.
One side is very racist, the other is tolerant.
My entire family, except for my sister and I, are racist. Entirely. I guess that's what living in South Africa does to you.
They're extremely racist. And they're always watching fox news and following it like gospel, and they love sarah palin. They're nice people otherwise. If a conversation steers towards politics, socioeconomics, or religion, it's pretty much abandon ship because things are about to go tits up in a hurry.
My grandpa kinda is, but not really all that much. Just doesn't like darkies that much.
My dad is racist I think he makes the jokes and takes the piss out of gays. (Who doesnt)
The reason your father makes racist jokes most likely isn't because he's racist, but because racist jokes have the potential to be really hilarious when people don't take it seriously.
My grandpa and father hadn't met until the night I was born. On said night and on camera might I add, he looked at me in the crib, and says, "Think he's Jewish? We could swap him out for the turkey in the oven, and no one would know."
My grandfather is sort of, and my grandma isn't.
My grandfather disowned my uncle when he married a woman who had a black child. He also was misogynistic.
My grandma calls mandarin oranges "Jap Oranges"
Oh, and at the guys on the first page: No, I'm not proud of it, but on a technical standpoint it IS my heritage, I should be allowed to wear it. I wore one of those little Jewish caps on the "Christmas" day at school, because my Jewish friend was too afraid to wear it. I got in a yelling match with my Principle, dressed as Santa, in the cafeteria. Yes. Imagine a Jewish boy yelling at Santa. I heard many lol's in the background. I even told him that I'm one quarter Nazi, and I'm more tolerant than he is.
