Good joke, but it was based upon a 50% probability chance that I would be cursed with farsightedness instead of its counterpart, nearsightedness, and could therefore laugh upon my feeble eyes as they attempt to autocorrect and pick out pixels among images without the purifying aid of spectacles that brings high-definition to my world of obscurity, showering me in the banquet of light and color that every other eye so wholeheartedly enjoys every day, whilst I slave away in a fog peering through the bottom of a wine-glass, hoping desperately that someday my eyes will be as efficient and as attuned to the splendors of the world as so many others' are.

If it's any consolation, I enjoyed the humor in the joke and even with corrective lenses the text pains my retinas and causes the rods in my eye to raise in population, therefore preventing me from being subjected to such monstrosities and horrors as such a text depicts. It was quite a well-thought out and perfectly executed piece of humor, and I applaud you for doing so.
