Almost 6am holy shit been a while since I've stayed up this late.. :v: Goodnight thread
Old metal fans are the best fans ever. Hands down.
yup, i'm trying to really start my collection up now. that is my most recent purchase right there. it's kind of funny, i'm actually more interested in buying more of these right now than saving up for a new computer case / power supply.
Old metal fans are the best fans ever. Hands down.
I once had a massive warehouse industrial fan that would blow strong winds through my room. It was awesome to fall asleep to. One of these:
do they work? :v: cos like having 50 fans on in your room would be kind of annoying/cold

The switch is also located above the motor casing, not on the support arm. That's one hell of a fan, moves a fuckton of air. basically like that [editline]31st December 2010[/editline]
do they work? :v: cos like having 50 fans on in your room would be kind of annoying/cold
Of course they work. But you don't run them all the time, it's like collecting figurines or old bottles or signs or something. Some real old fans can actually sell for thousands of dollars. Most of the time it's the really rare models from Jandus / Marelli / Robbins & Meyers.

All I remember is that it blew a shitload of air around and was noisy as hell and completely awesome.

Yeah, I'm stumped at the moment for how I should go about highlighting the top. I'm done for the night anyways. [editline]31st December 2010[/editline]

I am going to attempt a two color shirt tomorrow.
So I joined a local BDSM munch group. They have monthly munches... The next one is on the 8th. I'll probably go if I don't start school that day. Although Its kinda weird. I'm not big on the whole social thing. I dont like people. I'd rather stay inside and sneer at people from behind the blinds. [editline]31st December 2010[/editline] Hey look, Zorlok, I found an antique fan for sale near me. http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/atq/2134329213.html It is fancy.
Banksy's Wall and Piece is amazing! "Some people become cops because they want to make the world a better place. Some people become vandals because they want to make a better looking place."

So I get absolutely nothing for my 18th birthday. Literally. It was mentioned like once all throughout. Only one pending, weak promise of maybe getting a new disk drive for the xbox and maybe a new game. Wish we had some fucking money for anything, or that my damn car works. I could find a hooker and make my own god damned party if I could *go* anywhere.
Hahaha, it's raining broken images!
Just take the hint please :saddowns:
New Years party got cancelled so we had one last night. I have a stonking great headache, a grass stained £45 shirt, a soaking wet suit from getting in a hot tub and what appears to be a love bite on my neck. Damn good night.

I have a strange feeling that the chicken I just cooked wasn't totally cooked through. But it was so tasty :frown:
Hey someone recommend me a monitor, it's all I need to complete my build but my current one is like £220 which is way too much.
Hey someone recommend me a monitor, it's all I need to complete my build but my current one is like £220 which is way too much.
Well, Samsung makes great monitors, Dell makes great monitors, Acer monitors are decent...so are BenQ. ViewSonic generally makes pretty awesome monitors, too. Honestly though if you can afford a nice IPS type panel from Dell or ViewSonic you really can't go wrong. But IPS panels can be expensive in comparison to TN.
