I just went to amazon and got one off of there. as long as it works I don't care, but I would rather have spent that money on new strings for my bass.

Just played the demo for Amnesia. I was scared, yet when it ended I was pissed because I was enjoying it. So that's £5 gone!
Well that was fun. I was learning how to drive our new manual car and I stalled it twice while people were waiting for me to cross an intersection.
Eh, I wouldn't worry about it, I stalled ALL THE FUCKING TIME when I was learning. Then one day it just clicked.

Definitely worth trying the demo.
Didn't think I'd like it 'cos I'm not really into horror but, yeah, it was good.
I really liked Penumbra so i reckon amnesia should be good
for me amnesia was like a whole other league of scary compared to penumbra, dunno what it is exactly but something about the setting and atmosphere of amnesia is just that much more scary to me

You'll get the hang of it. I learned how to drive a manual transmission when I was 15, it just takes practice. I've driven manual trans cars on a daily basis for around 7 years now, and it quickly becomes second nature.

the physics interactions in amnesia are pretty much the same as penumbra, the inventory style is fairly close too
other than that they don't share too much besides being horror/puzzle games

and penumbra: overture isn't actually very scary, it has weapons and it's more based around puzzles and action than horror
black plague has gameplay that revolves mainly around horror, with quite a bit of puzzles too
requiem is literally all puzzles and no horror, though it's still fairly atmospheric

i mean I don't know a lot about computers but I know enough to know that 1.6 is not exactly very powerful
maybe being i7 makes up for it but idk generally when you buy something like an i7 you actually spend enough money to get a good one
