honestly nearly all video game music is uninspired/really forgettable :x i guess there's certain unique songs like the morrowind theme and the UNATCO theme from deus ex but the rest are just incredibly boring orchestra stuff

This song really gave me a huge "Temple of Time" vibe the first time I played NieR. It's a great, albeit underrated game in my opinion, despite somewhat linear gameplay and [i]some[/i] lackluster side quests.
It pains me that Caiva got shut down a few years ago, but I heared the original Drakengard/NieR team is returning to make Drakengard 3 for the PS3, so that boosts my spirit up.

Repetative as WoW was as a game, I have to say that it had a truly impressive soundtrack - so many memorable background tracks, especially in WotLK and places like Winterspring.
