It was obvious she was hiding something, and I soon figured out that she liked this guy (long distance) who lived in South Carolina. I almost threw up the night I found out. I eventually shrugged it off and made every attempt to still be just friends with her, but she seemed to be avoiding me for some reason. I pretty much blew it by confronting her about it via text message, because I didn't want to become detached with her. I asked if I had done something wrong or hurt her in any way, and she simply texted me: "No. Please do not text me.". I'm over it now, but at the time, I was very heartbroken. Luckily, it's Summer and hopefully all will be forgiven come August, but I doubt she'd ever talk to me again.
The only way to learn is to make mistakes, I guess.
