Did you join FP because of Gmod, or another source game?

well i lurked on fp back on 2009 looking something for gmod, ended up clicking a link to .on.nimp.org, but came back in 2011 to showcase my map i uploaded on gmod, ever since i'm mapping for various source games and showcasing, and play games with various people

so yea, gmod is still a part of the reason why i'm here

I joined because this was when guests couldn't view the forums for some reason. This was just after the invite system was removed.

I knew about this site for couple years before i joined because of my good friend, a popular user on here. Decided to join because i saw all the Nintendo threads and wanted to talk about stuff.

Well, I'm kinda surprised, I thought there were more people who joined because of Half Life or TF2 rather than Gmod, especially considering how huge the TF2 section is

Joined because I had some problem in GMod, once it was solved I left and came back to lurk in 2011, mostly for LMAO pics. Then eventually I started to post mostly in fast threads and Dota 2 section.

When I joined garrysmod.org was recently made to require a valid Steam account that owned GMod to access downloads. I more so joined to show that it actually worked because a whole lotta people(who eventually were outted as pirates) were claiming the system was broken. I just stuck around afterwards because I found most of what was going on interesting.

Joined because I kept getting directed here from Garry's Mod and mapping related Google searches. Stayed because I wanted a new forum/community to lurk and post a bit in.

I actually knew the forums since 2007 because of Garry's Mod 11, though the only reason I joined (3 years later) was because I wanted to post some stuff in the photoshop section :v:
I then had an on and off phase for 2 and a half years where I'd come back and lurk around every few months and then stop, and then a few months before the whole Rust fiasco happened I started actively lurking and sometimes posting.
And then around the end of 2013 I started shitposting full time!
