Havolis is cool
I don't disagree
Something I've realized over the last five years is that my perception of beauty is pretty misaligned with other people's in a way that I don't understand. I generally don't like talking about it because the last thing I want to do is seem different in a way that entails that I'm better than others - I don't think others are necessarily worse or better for it.
Today I was watching The Shining for the first time in my life, and I saw Shelly Duvall, and I thought she was pretty. I remarked about it, and then I felt odd about it, like there's no way some of my friends would express the same attraction as I do - not in a million years.

Same thing with someone like Queen Latifah. I think Queen Latifah is a very beautiful woman. But I've totally remarked about that in front of people and I got weird glances for it. I guess it's because she's not skinny, but at the same time I think she would look super weird if she looked as skinny as Ellen Paige. I can't picture that in my head.

I honestly remember a lot of times talking to people about the girls I was into throughout high school and for a few of them, people would ask why. Not "why" in a positively inquisitive manner, but instead "why" as in "ew, why?" And that bothered me too, because one of the girls that I thought was pretty had a very low self esteem about how she looked and it really bothers me.
Meanwhile, everyone's ogling at Anna Kendrick. Don't get me wrong, Anna Kendrick is an incredibly beautiful girl. I'm not dissing finding those women attractive, but when I think of Anna Kendrick, it gets downright strange how much people place a value on how she looks. Even the prettiest of women I don't feel obsessive about, and without meaning to sound super cheesy I think it's because I think of way more people being prettier than others might think of them. Or maybe I hung out with the wrong people. I dunno.
I watched The Shining for the first time last night and I thought the same thing when I saw Shelly Duvall, so you're not alone there.
No opinion on Latifah either way though.
I'm slowly convincing myself that Undertale's fame is tied for the major part to the furry fandom and those sexual genre experts nutcases at Tumblr

Or it's just a good game.

tbh undertale got hate because it got popular and everybody is already salty about popular things ever since minecraft came around because fanbases of suddenly popular indie stuff tend to be awful
Minecraft, Amnesia (to a lesser degree), FNAF, etc.
The moment something explodes in popularity for some people, other people automatically are disgusted by it because they get it shoved down their throats, which in turn makes them hate the game
it's a lot like if you tell someone to play/watch something really badly, they'll be more likely to not like it as much as you do, or at all
Ariesys should mass-produce their lunchbox PC cases for sale in stores like NewEgg, MemoryExpress, etc.
Donald trump should have the right to build the Great Wall of a Murica.

Insane Clown Posse isn't as awful as people say they are.
Oh my.
[sp] I actually think they're capable of being decent. They just never put it to use and almost always churn out shit[/sp]

That's true, but among the massive pile of shit is a small handful of songs that are actually listenable. My favorite would probably be Homies.
like what though?
Too lazy to type them out but this gets most of them :v:

cinemasins is a channel for comedic nitpicking, there's only like 4 or 5 of those that are actual plot holes and even then they're minor or borderline nonexistant

....why would it?
i have an ironically strange inclination to use the word dank whenever i talk about something good
genuinely unpopular: I don't like any of the marvel super hero movies. Even guardians of the galaxy I thought was boring as shit. The comedy was (to me) the most cookiecutter "look at me i'm wacky and don't acknowledge danger that i'm in" shit.
not shitting on other people for liking it, please no lyncherinos please
Insane Clown Posse isn't as awful as people say they are.
I dare you to watch the movie.
[editline]13th January 2016[/editline]
Not too unpopular of an opinion, a lot of people kinda just lump them into a category of "wacky zany superhero movies with cookiecutter plots and characters" and watch something else.
The problem that I have with Marvel's superhero movies is both the rate at which they are pumped out and how safe the movies are. They don't do the comics really any justice when they're spending so much time just barely scratching the surface. Apparently, they're getting into some deeper stuff but with how many movies are out, how many movies are going to come, and how many are destined for 2016 alone, I'm fucking burnt out.
The Marvel movies are those movies that are mildly entertaining the first time you watch them but then never again. They're too boring because they're creating them for a large audience and want to maximize profit by never really introducing any real difficulties that are worthwhile.
cinemasins video
Also, wanna point out that it seems like the only reason they're so biased against it is because of Edgar Wright leaving the project. They even reference it in the final verdict, and refuse to "sin" Luis' storytelling scene, essentially calling it the best scene in the movie, because they think it's Wright's idea
Fun fact: contrary to popular belief, and despite everyone calling them the most Wright-esque scenes in the film, they were never in any of the original drafts
Basically the only reason they hate it so much is because they're Edgar Wright fanboys
I think we can all agree that Cinemasins is terrible
They used to be funny a couple years ago but the schtick got old fast
cinemasins nitpicks just to nitpick, most of them actually enjoyed the movie
I really love how IDW handles comic properties more than Marvel or DC. Think about for a bit:
http://www.idwpublishing.com/
1. Samurai Jack gets cancelled abruptly, It gets revived years later officially as Season 5 in comic form. [sp]It actually ended a month ago I think.[/sp] This was before the weird revival announcement. Still happy with more Jack.
2. A bunch of other old comics get revived too. From Disney comics to TMNT getting the lead creators to do them again.
3. Transformers is a SMASH HIT in the comic book world, with fans and comic fans, because they are really really good. I really can't stress this enough in my posts :v:. Bayformers might make millions, yet the comics are getting awards with it's flagship series "More Than Meets the Eye" and are starting to make more copies sold than Marvel/DC. It still sucks that they haven't won an Eisner yet. As someone in a podcast said: "This series would have won Eisners if it didn't have the Transformers name on it."
4. While this is going on, Marvel and DC are fighting for the big screen while letting other characters abandoned ie Runaways. They're letting their livelihoods get left in the dust for movies. Marvel is still great imo, but their comics are on a decline.
In short, IDW> Marvel and DC, and nothing is really going to change that for me.

It would be ripped apart much like how the other direction meant that they got turned into a small pile of goo.

[sp]that was because the technology wasn't ready though, and it's made very clear. not sure how you missed that, it's literally what the first three quarters of the movie are about[/sp]
scene does not contain a lapdance lololol this is still a funny joke right guys
New Balance sneakers look like shit.
The biggest failure on Universal's part for creating Jurassic World was not making a new Operation Genesis

Thank you! I have usually been told that I am shallow and pathetic for only wanting to date a girl that is very pretty, but when I say "very pretty" what I mean to say is "what I find very pretty" :(

uhm no he didn't
he said the suit prevents the [sp]pym particles from affecting your brain. bald evil man didn't wear the suit while testing the technology and went psycho.[/sp]
how can you say a movie is filled with plot holes when you didn't even understand the plot
Oh, must have misheard it then.
