The new star wars managed to beat it
Unlike Avatar, TFA has actual heart.
I don't understand Facepunch's strange obsession with choosing Iran over the Saudis when Iran is a different side of the same coin
Probably because Saudi Arbaia is going to implode in the next 40 years and we want to get on the good side of the Iranians before that happens.
I don't understand Facepunch's strange obsession with choosing Iran over the Saudis when Iran is a different side of the same coin
iran is a friendlier country my unpopular opinion: hungarian is the most beautiful language on the planet
iran is a friendlier country
Okay so the state executions, control of media, propagandizing and literally having a religious demagogue as the nation's, I shit you not, "Supreme Leader"? Friendly!
saudi arabia also funds islamic extremists in europe
Saudi Aurabia is the main flagship of the western international world's illusion about convincing the eastern Muslims to adopt our values and way of life by creating big, modern, laic democracies The other flagship of said illusion is Turkey, currently led by a man who has only one political program, to apply the Quran's law to everything, and where people set their ideologic differences by shooting at each other at least twice a week
I don't understand Facepunch's strange obsession with choosing Iran over the Saudis when Iran is a different side of the same coin
Both are terrible and neither should be sided with. Saudi is definitely worse though. However, the US funds Saudi Arabia and calls them an ally in the war for freedom.
The Persian Empire was also pretty sick so Iran gets the win from a historical point of view. [sp]Greek city states were also dogshit compared to the Achaemenid Empire fight me irl if you disagree/[/sp]

The awesome part about if Trump became president is that he would be the first non-pussy as commander in chief
The awesome part about if Trump became president is that he would be the first non-pussy as commander in chief
The worst part about if Trump became President is that he would use this non-pussy attitude to push ridiculous things, making his non-pussy attitude the worst thing possible.
The awesome part about if Trump became president is that he would be the first non-pussy as commander in chief
If you think Trump would be the first "non-pussy" as commander in chief out of 44 other presidents you know literally nothing of history. Spend 5 minutes looking up Jackson.
The awesome part about if Trump became president is that he would be the first non-pussy as commander in chief
Stupidity =/= Not being a pussy
I hate how people assign words like "weak" or "pussy" to presidents. It's not fucking highschool, this descision will shape how one of the most powerful nations is ran. What is a "weak" president? Does he have to go to war on day 1? Does he have to bench 360lbs?
Calling a president weak like, say Andrew Johnson where they're outright unable to really do anything is valid. Calling them weak because they don't respond to everything like a reactionary is stupid however.
Finally, it was briefly discussed and voted on January 21st, and ultimately rejected.
Well you can stop panicking and sowing the seeds to your bizarre anti-feminist agenda because gueeeeeeeeeeeess what: it didn't work Sorry!

I think social media has had a net-negative impact on social quality of life
Alcohol is one of the worst drugs out there.
What is it worse than?
weed and most hallucinogens
The Hippies had the right idea before the entire movement got ruined with a sudden influx of people from around the country that weren't really there for the movement. idk maybe i believe this because im a hippy at heart i'd also say my belief in that relates to my ideal perfect world. No money, no wars, no governments, just people existing and being happy. not having to pay to keep yourself alive, and people doing things for the good of humanity and not themselves. an ideal world, not a realistic one though. And the more I think about it, the more I realize how much that Counterculture class I took in high school effected my world views and beliefs. not to mention my musical tastes.
I classify animals that interact with humans on a meaningful level to be 'people'. Obviously they're not humans and don't get any of the legal perks of being a human, but they should be treated with no less respect. [editline]25th January 2016[/editline] Maybe I'm biased though, cause my dog legitimately talks back to me (not barking, it's an inside voice) when I talk to him and he'll hug me on occasion with no prompt. He seems more like a quadrupedal 'person' that doesn't speak English, but still understands a lot of it.

Sit on the floor and pretend to cry and near every dog will go up to you and try to comfort you, works with every dog I've ever tried it with, including complete stranger-dogs
I find it harder for me to accept transgender as normal than gays. Before you go flaming down my throat, what I meant is that there has been known homosexuality behavior in many other species other than just humans.(Of which bats has the highest percentage) But I've never heard or read about transgender behavior in other species than humans. Bringing up amphiprioninae is not an argument as they have a strict dominance hierarchy to which humans doesn't have. Our strongest male doesn't just turn into a female just because a female died. Amphiprioninae are also hermaphrodites where they have both male and female reproductive organs, to which obviously, humans are not. Not to mention that there is an actual purpose for this behavior in amphirioninae and other hermaphrodites which is for reproduction, to which for humans none whatsoever. My views on transgenderism may change in the future, but as of now I still feel weirded out by transgender people. Which is weird as I'm totally fine with the gay people around me.
wouldn't a transgender animal just act like the sex it was born as?
Humans have complex social and cultural structures that paint a large distinction between the roles and customs of male and females. The reason you don't see this behavior in animals is because most of their cultural and social interactions are a lot simpler, so there is no room for different actions based on sex. Also thinking that oneself is of a different gender is a pretty complex thought, which is why humans are the most likely of the animals to experience it. Sexual preference though is a very fundamental thought process, so that is why animals show signs of homosexuality.
The awesome part about if Trump became president is that he would be the first non-pussy as commander in chief
There could never be an "awesome" part to a Trump presidency. Unless by awesome you mean he'll be fucking over people that aren't you, then go ahead and keep imagining that.
The upcoming PC ports of God Eater 1 and 2 would benefit from a crossover with Killing Floor 2.
