London is a kip and I feel sorry for anyone who has to live there. It's depressing as hell, and I thought Dublin was bad.
edinburgh is infinitely better than london
but they're nothing alike?
Considering that the original release of God Eater was on a system that was carried by homebrew development and the second game was originally exclusive to Japan, it wasn't even all that popular in the first place. Bandai Namco would definitely need the extra players that come from promotional crossovers. Additionally, some of the weapons in the God Eater franchise would definitely be a welcome addition to a first person shooter.
I find it harder for me to accept transgender as normal than gays. Before you go flaming down my throat, what I meant is that there has been known homosexuality behavior in many other species other than just humans.(Of which bats has the highest percentage) But I've never heard or read about transgender behavior in other species than humans. Bringing up amphiprioninae is not an argument as they have a strict dominance hierarchy to which humans doesn't have. Our strongest male doesn't just turn into a female just because a female died. Amphiprioninae are also hermaphrodites where they have both male and female reproductive organs, to which obviously, humans are not. Not to mention that there is an actual purpose for this behavior in amphirioninae and other hermaphrodites which is for reproduction, to which for humans none whatsoever. My views on transgenderism may change in the future, but as of now I still feel weirded out by transgender people. Which is weird as I'm totally fine with the gay people around me.
One of the key things in being transgender is being able to communicate that fact. Something that an animal really isn't going to be capable of.
Undertale is overrated
I think social media has had a net-negative impact on social quality of life
I agree, ten years ago I'd argue forums were more like friendly pubs for a chat and the odd joke with some bouncers on hand (Mods in other words) just to keep things in order. Most were small-medium size and fun. Then social media came along and suddenly the "pub" as it were suddenly became a massively cramped with the place ready to turn into a boiling pot at any time and the bouncers are few and far between. People getting riled up due to the fact the room never seems to shut up about an embarrassing incident the person suffered. (Gary Lineker on Twitter seems to be a prime example as his followers can't shut up to him about him being caught short during a Football match 26 years ago.) This and the worse thing about Social media, the power of outrage which is just causes me to sigh because we all know how it will end. Spec Ops: The Line is a strong contender for "most overrated game ever"
I somewhat enjoyed The Order: 1886. Recently purchased a copy of the game for a dirt cheap price. I really like the idea of [sp]King Arthur's knights and his descendants trying their best to keep the streets of Victorian Britain clean from these Lycan/Vampire creatures.[/sp] I just wish they had delved into more detail about the British Empire and the New World. Jason Grave's soundtrack is absolutely fantastic, it's weird how a lot of games, movies and TV shows that aren't received well always seem to have an excellent soundtrack. I know people don't like the Matrix sequels but the soundtrack for both movies are pretty good.
Why am I not surprised
We actually legalised sex-reassignment surgery back in 1973. And also, back in 2001, there was a public survey asking, "Should sex-change operations be resumed in Singapore?" 39% of respondents said, "Yes, they are people with valid medical needs, like infertile couples" and 35% said, "Why not? It is legal here, as are transsexual marriages". The results showed that we were generally quite supportive.
Fallout 4 works well as a shooter with rpg elements, but not as a rpg with shooter elements. Sue me
I'm gonna say like 75 percent of Undertale hate or more is based on "Something is popular...I HATE IT" rather than actually disliking the game for its content
Works well as neither I refunded it
I don't know if this is "unpopular", but when it comes to Star Wars, Galactic Civil War Era >>>>> Clone Wars Era. And I don't mean the movies, I mean the time periods and what happens or exists within them. And I'm not just saying that because "FUCK DA PREQUELS", there are parts I really like about the Clone Wars era. But GCW's way cooler IMO.
That's exactly how I feel. People were actually fighting for something in the GCW, the Clone Wars were two mass produced armies manipulated by the same person.
I'm gonna say like 75 percent of Undertale hate or more is based on "Something is popular...I HATE IT" rather than actually disliking the game for its content
Mediocre story, repetitive gameplay, majority of the jokes aren't funny or seem like they're directed to a much younger audience, the whole unique shine wears off fast... I don't get the cult following behind it.
This infowars dude is right about modern art.
I'm glad I've grown out of the "Hurrdurr modern art dumb" phase. 9 times out of 10 the criticism boils down to "I could have made that!" Yeah but, you didn't.
Guess you didn't watch the video. 40 seconds in he states that there is quite a bit of good modern art out there.
A lot of the art like that (jesus pickled in piss, cans of shit, trashbags, etc) are pretty imitative and unoriginal in the century since they first appeared. they're not bad in themselves, just really boring, dull, and uninteresting because they've already exhausted the boundaries they set out to break. i mean yeah, you get a few vaguely interesting things, but when they're everywhere and have been done to death, they don't have appeal anymore. feels like the artists ran out of ideas or energy more than anything else
My unpopular opinion is that I don't think all of the bad modern art is actually that bad. I really do enjoy stuff like Jackson Pollock and it's not really the art itself but the history and story behind it and the Jackson's passion. I can totally understand why someone wouldn't like it, though, and I am pretty against art galleries being filled with that stuff. Thankfully though I don't see that all that much.
Some of the best art I've seen is literally a broken mirror that's put back together, cemented with grout and the grout has a light glitter effect to it. It's beautiful, eye catching, and really, really nice. Some patterns are used to represent the artist's past, while others are just expressions.
by this point most of the examples people bring up of pretentious modern art are obvious satires of it. anyone using artist's shit as an example of pretension is a fuckin moron
by this point most of the examples people bring up of pretentious modern art are obvious satires of it. anyone using artist's shit as an example of pretension is a fuckin moron
As an ancient saying goes, ironic shitposting is still shitposting.

The modern art "period" lasted for more than a century and includes a truly staggering amount of material - enough to basically capture the breadth of human experience. The cheap-shots of the category make up less than a speck of its totality. If you're the kind of person who forms strong opinions about topics that you have virtually no knowledge of, you're probably just not very bright.
I'm gonna say like 75 percent of Undertale hate or more is based on "Something is popular...I HATE IT" rather than actually disliking the game for its content
Unfortunately. Makes people who legit just dislike the game due to it's content look like they're using that excuse.
Companies that buckle into a couple whiny tumblr blogs about "We don't want anime breasts in games", and then the companies go "LOOKS LIKE THAT'S MAJORITY OPINION" are cowards. Just translate it, if you catch shit for it, you get more copies sold. You're just giving in like a bunch of babies otherwise.
