If you meant to say the weirdest musicians/artists in general are the best, then yes, but this is the worst way to put it.
Maybe no one calls her Mary Sue because she is not a Mary Sue.
I've seen people call her that, but none of them was called sexist for saying it.

Look, I'm all for strong female characters, but ALL characters need some form of development, no matter who or what they are. The fact that she may / may not be Luke's daughter and thus force sensitive is irrelevant - you need to walk before you can run.

It is mentioned multiple times that she has extensive experience with piloting. The force thing is a bit iffy but I'm willing to suspend my disbelief. She held off Kylo Ren because he was severely injured, emotional compromised, and relatively inexperienced.
:snip:
might want to wait until it comes out on bluray/dvd before you start just saying this stuff openly.

Fuck man, the others can be argued, but this just makes you seem like a tremendous cunt.
Oooh a female character I don't like that does things BLUH FEMINISM!!! The way she's written, poor or not, is not pushing any god damn agendas. Believe it or not, literal feminist boogymen are not behind EVERYTHING. SJWs don't lurk in the shadows waiting to ruin things for you.
The mental gymnastics you people go through to make everything come back to feminism is as astounding as it is pathetic.
>literally feminism: the character
knew how to [sp]fly the millenium falcon[/sp] because the movie takes the entire first quarter setting up that she's been living on her own by working with technology
held off a [sp]lighsaber duelist that wasn't fully trained, had little combat experience because there are virtually no jedi left, and had just been wounded by a massive laser crossbow[/sp]
only thing i'll give you is the [sp]mind trick[/sp] but if that alone means this character is pushing an agenda because she's a woman, you're out of your mind

I'm gonna stop greentexting now. She's not exactly the best written or most believable character, but still pretty far from being a Mary Sue.
Also, use [sp] tags, pretty sure some of this is spoiler territory-ish.
[editline]stuff[/editline]
Holy shit we fuckin' jumped on that guy, wow. Almost quadruple ninja'd.
Nowadays if a writer comes up with a male character who could as well be considered a Marty Stu, everyone will agree on how much said writer sucks and how annoying the character is
If a writer comes up with a female character who could as well be considered a Mary Sue, everyone will praise the author for creating an empowering and realistic female character in fiction and deem the character deep and meaningful
And yes, I'm thinking about Rey from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, whom no one can call what she truly is without being labelled as "sexist"
Don't know how Rey qualifies as being a mary sue. She certainly has her flaws, like not being able to aim, being in denial, being rude, so on. Yeah, she's talented, but she's [sp]force sensitive, it comes with the territory. And I wouldn't be surprised if she's a Skywalker either, Star Wars' favorite way of handwaving someone being an exceptional pilot.[/sp] There is nothing I can think of that Rey was capable of that Luke wasn't.
Hell, look at the Jedi in Star Wars. If anyone in Star Wars is a mary sue or marty stu or whatever, it's the Jedi. It was an entire fucking order literally composed of nothing but them, in a universe where the good guys can win solely because a vague unseen force wills it. If we're picking on characters for being flawless, what about Obi-Wan, or Yoda? Those are two characters that literally never had any flaws and are treated with the utmost reverence in universe.
Or hey, if we're talking about a character feeling like a self insert that's super duper important for no reason and is perfect, how about fucking Anakin Skywalker himself, who spent the entire trilogy being the hottest shit ever for no adequate reason other than some unexplained prophecy, and is treated as the most powerful, important, prodigy of a character in the entire Star Wars universe, again, for not much adequate reason?
What are we even defining a Mary Sue as these days anyway? It used to be a self insert wish fulfillment character, but who would Rey be a self insert for in the first place? And who's wishes is she fulfilling? And why does it always have to be and always happen to be a female character?
I'm not saying that people who think she is are sexist, but I do feel like if the gender was swapped, we wouldn't be complaining about how man Rey is a marty stu.

"Mary Sue" went from meaning a self insert wish fulfillement character to meaning any woman who's as strong as the average male protagonist, same as "SJW" went from meaning the kind of person who advocates mayonaise as a gender to meaning anyone left of Trump

That's not as bad as this one girl in Star Wars, but I think she might have just been one of those EU things like Starkiller.
You want a mary sue, this girl;
>Knew how to use spaceship turrets despite having never done so
>Was deadly accurate with guns for no adequately explained reason
>Was able to successfully use a lightsaber to defeat a a dark jedi with several decades of experience on an even playing field despite being untrained in comparison
>Was able to outpilot Imperial TIE-Fighters in almost every encounter, with literally no piloting training
>Was able to craft a lightsaber despite never being taught how to
>Was able to lift spaceships and shit in no time after discovering they were force sensitive
>Was able to defeat stormtroopers, criminals, and a fucking rancor
among other shit
now that's a mary sue girl
oh wait that wasn't a girl, that was Luke fucking Skywalker

I doubt it. Creativity is a rare trait. A trait which can make new forms of music or unprecedented ideas.

Also the script actually says [sp]That Ren was distracted from just having killed his father, not to mention Snoke wanted him to take her in alive so he and Ren could train her[/sp]
Jokes are jokes. You can make a disparaging joke that generalizes a group of people without hating that group.

I have an uncle that is not white and makes racist jokes about me being Mexican all the time. It doesn't get to me and he's just a funny, vulgar dude. He's also a very loving person.

I make jokes about polishmen and germans, and I'm polish-german
Does that make me a self-racist?
youtube drama is insufferable and the reaction video format is stupid anyways

You're a special case. When you make jokes about the polish, you're a racist german, when you make jokes about the germans, you're a racist pole.
Poor idea choosing to be born that way tbh
I'm a double racist get on my level Trump

A Jew walks into a synagogue...
The first RE movie, while dumb as rocks and lacking in any splattery goodness, did have some really neat set design as well as a criminally underrated score.
Hillary Clinton is close to a democratic version of Trump in terms of potential damage she could do to our country. The difference is that she hasn't given any real indication of her being racist/bigoted, but the fact that she is completely in the pocket of big banks and is using money to bypass the democratic process leads me to believe that she is just as awful a candidate, just not as out in the open about it.
That's the thing, I don't agree with all of Sanders policies but considering it looks like he's on his way to be the only candidate that isn't atrocious, I feel like I'm forced to vote for him.

i know repeating yourself is like all you do, but damn, word by word? get creative for once
