so....im guessing not many people here care for cannibal holocaust?
I find that having fun in a competitive game is more important than being good. Then again, if i'm intentionally not trying hard I play well.
As someone who loves RTS games, it's sad to see that genre die out, Company of Heroes, Warcraft 3 and Total War games were some of the most fun I've had with video games.
Seeing that people are still defending bad ports just because the developer is Japanese... Nippon Ichi really needs to get around to apologizing for Cladun X2. Simply having Disgaea on PC won't magically undo the damage they did in the first place.

-THAT"S bad-
I find Rainbow Six: Siege more fun than CS:GO, mostly because CS lacks the map interactivity and room for improvisation R6 has. It's just a lot more dynamic.

I love CSGO, I really do, but man oh man is it just fucking awful at times.
so....im guessing not many people here care for cannibal holocaust?
I read a lot about cannibalism and human transmutation, so yes.
Someone please explain layer cake to me? I never understood the movie.
I read a lot about cannibalism and human transmutation, so yes
Do I even want to know?
I don't like Ride of the Valkryies, it's such an overplayed cliche.
When it comes to having serious debates I find it hard to side with whoever's more focused on making zingers and being a smartass than presenting an actual argument, even if I agree with them.
let's be honest, the only reason movies like Cannibal Holocaust are even talked about is because of how gruesome their contents are 99% of the time movies like that are absolutely garbage
I'd argue that to have fun in a competitive game, you must be somewhat good. Getting killstreaks of 20+ in Modern Warfare 2 were some of the funnest moments of my gaming hobby
My favorite memories from competitive shooters are doing dumb shit with my friends. Custom games in Halo 3 were amazingly fun because of how goofy they were. That being said, I definitely enjoy a game more when I'm good at it. But doing well doesn't form memories in the same way doing goofy shit with people you love does.
For me, it's both. Me and a buddy would form huge strategies for pub stomping in Black Ops 2. We had a spot for every level, and a loadout to fit. One of us would have scavenger + trophy to stop all projectiles like grenades. The other would have a riotshield with targetfinder-FAL, and mines. We would only play on hardcore. One guy was on defense with mines and guarding our back, the other would see targets through the riotshield glass (you can't be shot during this), "pop up" "pop the guy" and then "pop down." We were unstoppable. Our killstreaks both had that weird sun-mirror thing, which pretty much insta-killed you in hardcore. We would move spots constantly if we were in a room, no one was ever sure where we were. Usually riotshield guy would distract so the other would get the kill in that situation.
I know what you mean, I have two friends that are brothers and we used to try hard the shit out of Halo 3 and MW2. It was really fun to do well, but I cherish the memories of Fat Kid, Jenga, and stupid ass quickscoping sessions more than any killstreak.
I like RTS games which is weird since I can't even remember the last one I even enjoyed that much. I've played men of war but I always get overwhelmed by the amount of management I have to do. I think one I liked was Multiwinia, which was pretty simple if I remember correctly.
Men of war has so many good points that are dragged down by piss-poor AI and an eh interface I won't pick on the voice acting because that's part of the charm A TANK LIKE THIS WILL TAKE US ALL THE WAY TO BERLIN
Life is too short to invest time and money into being a gamer. Though if its a hobby, or you make money off of it, then that's A-OK.
Life is too short to invest time and money into being a gamer. Though if its a hobby, or you make money off of it, then that's A-OK.
I don't follow. If you like gaming and invest time and money into it then it's a hobby by definition? [editline]9th February 2016[/editline] I should refresh before posting.

I'm really sorry to the resident weaboos, but I really can't stand watching an animated featured AND keep checking the screen for the subtitles, especially when several characters are speaking at the same time I think it really takes me out from WATCHING the animation and admiring the little touches here and there
so....im guessing not many people here care for cannibal holocaust?
Needlessly mutilating actual animals for the sake of a garbage shock movie.
Needlessly mutilating actual animals for the sake of a garbage shock movie.
Wasn't cannibal holocaust that movie that got accused for showing real people die on screen?
That would be faces of death.
Yeah, I believe the actors were in on it and went into hiding or something along those lines. There was a court case and everything. But in order to get shown in theaters at all, wouldn't someone have to give it the green light? [editline]9th February 2016[/editline] That's another one. Didn't that actually have a few real deaths, though? It's been a while since I've heard anyone mention it.
It also has a few real life rapes. I didn't watch. I was at a friends house when I was a kid. I over heard being played on the TV while I was trying to sleep. I didn't go over to his house after that.
Yeah, I believe the actors were in on it and went into hiding or something along those lines. There was a court case and everything. But in order to get shown in theaters at all, wouldn't someone have to give it the green light?
Yeah, the deaths turned out to be bs. IIRC the director actually had a contract barring the actors from appearing in media to make it seem they really died, and it worked. When the court case came around, he spilled the beans. [editline]9th February 2016[/editline] Pretty sure Faces of Death was complexly fake. The allegations were part of the novelty for the time.
Videogames are art and should be allowed to discuss darker issues. Art shouldn't be censored.
