Hitler has a cool mustache
Hitler has a cool mustache
Chaplin wore it better.
Chaplin wore it better.
Spiderman's boss even better
I'm legitimately surprised by how unpopular an opinion this is to hold within the anime watching community. Like what's the appeal of insisting on watching something in a language you don't even speak and aren't trying to learn? My personal opinion on the matter is this: If there's a dubbed version of something I want to watch I'm going to watch that regardless of whether the voice acting is worse than the subbed version because, you know, I actually understand it. I'll only watch something subbed if it's only available subbed and is something I'm quite interested in watching.
If a dub is bad I consider it to be a bonus.
David Bowie's music is 2deep4me [editline]10th February 2016[/editline] always was, dead or no
He mumbles in his later works.
Dylan Bob (as one of my counter-culture teachers would say as a joke) is great. One of the defining voices of that generation. Sucks to hear that not a lot of people around you appreciate him :c
i know a lot of people who like him but always throw in a "...but his voice is terrible" at the end i hear it so much that - and maybe this is just my inner fanboy speaking - it almost seems like a fad to me
I would like to think that it is a fad. His voice is iconic. I mean yeah I can see why people wouldn't necessarily see his voice as what you would think of for a traditional sort of singing voice but he makes it work.
a good singing voice is unnecessary if you can deliver it right and it fits the music you're making
a good singing voice is unnecessary if you can deliver it right and it fits the music you're making
exactly, take for example the part in "Heroes" from David Bowie where he starts screaming. The singing isn't really smooth and pretty anymore, but it's now very emotional and raw and I really like that
I find myself unable to like Bowie or Dylan.
I find myself unable to like Bowie or Dylan.
I've never consciously listened both of them
I think Mr Enter is a reasonable person.
i don't find babies to be that cute, they just look like lumps of fat to me. puppies, or just dogs in general, are 100x cuter than any baby could be
I think Hitler was a victim. But I'd still shoot him.
I think Hitler was a victim. But I'd still shoot him.
a "victim" in what sense, exactly? you mean people wrongfully blame him for the murders against ethnic minorities that occurred in the fascist state he created partially by founding a culture of prosecution against minorities, which he details in the book he wrote where he advocated for the oppression of ethnic minorities? That is to say, the murders committed by officers appointed by his administration, which he had complete dictatorial control over? in what way is Hitler not responsible for the atrocities committed by the country he ruled, during the war which he started?
It was all a hoax
This is one that might get some Souls fans in a knot: Bloodborne is From's masterpiece. It is easily in the top 5 games I have ever played, and it surpasses Dark Souls 1 in almost every respect. [editline]11th February 2016[/editline] It also has the best video game OST since Halo 3. For real, listen to some of this shit. Bloodborne IS From's best work yet (though I haven't played Demon's Souls) It still suffers from some imbalances in later NG+'s, but holy shit it's an amazing game And that OST :fap:

Bloodbornes NG+ feels very lacking in comparison. I still fucking love it though
The only part of Bloodborne that fell flat for me was that the characters were way less interesting and had little to nothing in the way of actual stories.
The only part of Bloodborne that fell flat for me was that the characters were way less interesting and had little to nothing in the way of actual stories.
I feel that, IMO the most interesting character was Eileen but her questline cuts off really abruptly.

Whoever composed Ludwig's second theme should get the soundtrack version of an Oscar. Aside from that, Bloodborne is easily From's most well thought out game, and it was enough to make me get a PS4 specifically for it.

I still love the other games (except Demon's sadly), but I always have the most fun/least frustration whenever I play 2.
i love dark souls 1, 2 and bloodborne equally, they all have their upsides and downsides bloodborne is short and is very limited in terms of weapons and costumes (though the DLC fixed some of that), dark souls 1's second half is poor and the controls are a bit jankier than the other ones but everything else makes up for that and dark souls 2 is the biggest with the most equipment and areas, but some of the areas are very lacking and some of the bosses just lame demon's souls is really good too but i don't like it as much as the others, because it feels the most cheap and is very unrefined compared to the sequels in terms of gameplay, controls and level design
i think "Could you think of a better solution?" is a valid come back to an argument when someone is bitching about something that they have no control over. For example, someone bitching about how much they hate a sequel to something and yet they don't offer an explanation of how it could be better. If they can't think of a better solution or how it could be perfect then they don't have a valid opinion on the matter. If you can't offer anything better to the table then fuck off and stop bitching.

Every opinion is valid, especially when it comes to a product or service that you've paid for. The "I'd like to see you do better" mentality is asinine and useless - it's just a venomous (and unimaginative) ad-hominem response to criticism.

Like a TV show that is following on from the original, if somebody is bitching that the storyline is shit but yet they can't think of what a better storyline could be, then i believe they should stop bitching. The writers tried an approach, it might have worked for other people but not you. TLDR: What i mean is "don't comment unless you come up with something constructive that could help."
But pointing out what you didn't like is constructive criticism. If I'm eating a meal and I'm like "you shouldn't have used apples, they tastes weird in combination with the other ingredients" that's constructive criticism, because it gives the cook a starting point to improve their meal. It's then their job to try other fruits and find what works.
Raisins in chocolate and cookies are top tier. Case and point

But bitching, for example, someone just going "eugh its shit, why did they do this, its not as good as the first one, they shouldn't have done it" or whatever. Isn't constructive. Really sorry that im literally the worst at explaining things in my initial post.
