League of Legends is boring as heck and DOTA 2 is much, much more better than it
Doubt that's a very big accomplishment.
Doubt that's a very big accomplishment.
Not really, no.
Bethesda are rubbish game developers.
here's an unpopular opinion: fallout 4 is actually really good
The reason why FP doesn't have a comprehensive rule list is so that the mods can make up entirely bullshitmadeuponthespotentirelypersonal ban reasons when someone bothers them, not because its "too hard" or "impossible." Honestly I wish I could get a refund on gold sometimes just because the reason you go to FP is NOT for the website; its for the people.
Mods and the rules on Facepunch have been getting generally more lenient in all honesty, many of the mods are quite alright people and I don't see them as being abusive assholes. There are a lot of users posting stuff these days that would have gotten them permabanned in an instant a few years ago.
Blaming Muslims for what happened in Paris is ignorant. Judging from how Facepunch and my Facebook reacted, this isn't exactly popular to say.
Stay away from the FP thread. Not even 15 minutes had passed yet when people started using what happened as a political talking point. Anyone who does this is a piece of shit.
Classic Facepunch. [editline]14th November 2015[/editline] First page too, why aren't I surprised?
Blaming Muslims for what happened in Paris is ignorant. Judging from how Facepunch and my Facebook reacted, this isn't exactly popular to say.
I blame the west.
I blame the west.
I blame the terrorists.
I blame the terrorists.
Need to do a bit more research bub. People don't do things without reason. Even if that reason isnt obvious.

I only lurk the place, being more interested in the lp archives, and half the stuff that flies on FP now would get you probated/banned there very easily. And FP as things are now is a far cry from how strict they used to be.
Need to do a bit more research bub. People don't do things without reason. Even if that reason isnt obvious.
A "reason" is not a justification. The murder of those people rest on the terrorists' shoulders, not on the nebulous entity you label as "the west".
Fallout 4 isn't beautiful, but it blows New Vegas and 3 out of the water for a fairly obvious reason: Actual colors Fallout 3 had horrendous color design as did New Vegas. Every NPC looked like they were covered in a thick layer of grease.
Don't forget that the Commonwealth in FO4 looks like it's actually lit by sunlight. In 3 and New Vegas, everything looked like it was set to fullbright in hammer.
Blaming Muslims for what happened in Paris is ignorant. Judging from how Facepunch and my Facebook reacted, this isn't exactly popular to say.
On my Facebook it's the exact opposite story: even barely hinting that some groups of muslims are dangerous assassins and extremists will get you labelled as a nazist
I blame the west.
While the West has done some terrible, shitty things that basically led to the clusterfuck that is the Middle East today, that doesn't excuse atrocities against innocent civilians. That's the exact same mentality shitheads will use to blame all muslims for what extremists do.
While the West has done some terrible, shitty things that basically led to the clusterfuck that is the Middle East today, that doesn't excuse atrocities against innocent civilians. That's the exact same mentality shitheads will use to blame all muslims for what extremists do.
No, I view it this way. If you stick your foot in a fire ant mound, you're going get stung. Everything one does has consequences. Just jumping in and not thinking things through is asking for harsh lessons. Your statement is the equivalent of Martin Shkreli being shocked people were backlashing against him jacking up the price of medicine too high, then whines about being "picked on". If you exploit people, don't be surprised there will be back lash. The jihadists also see the average person as the people who voted in the people who commanded the drones strikes. So there were no innocent civilians in their view. Is there an aspect that isn't due to Western activities? Yes there is, however we cannot be completely absolved of responsibility. The best approach is figure out what we did unskillfully and not do those things again.
No, I view it this way. If you stick your foot in a fire ant mound, you're going get stung.
None of the victims of this attack had anything to do with ~the West~ intervening in the Middle East. This analogy is just disgusting. You're using the same absurd amalgamous logic as those who say Muslims should be blamed for the actions of terrorists.

You're using the same absurd amalgamous logic as those who say Muslims should be blamed for the actions of terrorists.
In their minds, you voted for those leaders who did those things. You're responsible. Thus there no such things as civilians. This is their logic.
In their minds, you voted for those leaders who did those things. You're responsible. Thus there no such things as civilians.
It should not be yours, hence why you shouldn't do blanket generalizations and blame "The West" for actions they ultimately decided to undertake.
Either you understand how they think, and respond accordingly or you lose. Thats all there is to it.
It should not be yours, hence why you shouldn't do blanket generalizations and blame "The West" for actions they ultimately decided to undertake.
You are trying to rationalize the actions of bloodthirsty fanatics
Either you understand how they think, and respond accordingly or you lose. Thats all there is to it.
That doesn't mean you have the right to blame the victim. When someone gets murdered in a seedy part of town do you blame them for their own demise by saying they should have known better than go there? [editline]14th November 2015[/editline]
You are trying to rationalize the actions of bloodthirsty fanatics
JohhnyCarson is a bloodthirsty fanatic?
It should not be yours, hence why you shouldn't do blanket generalizations and blame "The West" for actions they ultimately decided to undertake.
Gotta love how nobody blames the Turks or the people in the actual MiddleEast. As if they have no agency. The Euros may have colonized the region and the US may have fucked around toppling democracies and trying to create them but the US never implanted the ideas of radical Islamism into their heads. You really can't take Islam out of this entire situation. Its entirely relevant. Just as how Christianity in relation to homophobia in Africa is important. Blaming all Muslims is wrong but that doesn't mean we shouldn't criticize fundamentalist Islams role in this situation or seriously reconsider immigration from Islamic countries. [editline]14th November 2015[/editline] Now saying it while its actually happening is a bit silly in my view but the moment after a crisis is where you should be trying to push agendas and change policy. Government is unfortunately reactive. After the next shooting Americans really should be having discussions on gun regulation. After another case of police brutality Americans should be protesting for police reform, After Islamic violence Europeans should reconsider their immigration policy etc.

That's pretty neat, I guess it was to stop people from making alts just to lurk. [sp]also the fact that I didn't know this suggests that i've been a good little boy lately[/sp]
I legitimately believe that Craptasket and postal don't give enough of a shit to be offended enough to ban people.
Certain mods do ban people for disagreeing with them, eg Max.
Certain mods do ban people for disagreeing with them, eg Max.
yeah but they're gone for a reason
