Honestly one of the biggest things Pokémon needs right now is difficulty settings. They implemented them in BW2 but then they never came back, and they were implemented in the most ludicrous, roundabout way where if you wanted to play the whole game from the start on hard mode you had to have a friend send it to you from their game wirelessly, because you unlock it after you beat the game but for some reason if you start the game over, it's gone.
The games actually have a fair bit of strategic depth to them, but it's pretty much only relevant if you get into competitive multiplayer. Game Freak is too worried about having the games be too confusing for kids so they've made the single player campaigns super easy, where all you really need to complete them is a vague understanding of how type match-ups work and then you just basically spam super-effective moves or moves with high base power.
If they do make difficulty settings, I want one of the effects to be more strategy used by the AI. Like you say there is some depth to the battles, but it's never brought out because there's literally no logic to the opponents' choice of moves.
If the footage we get from Kingdom Hearts III is anything to go by, they are focusing more on the Pixar/Disney movies this time around
Make of that what you will

I don't mind if someone butts into my conversation as long as they have some worthwhile to say
pokemon's change is gradual because gamefreak is afraid the more critical fans will reject it.
surprise gamefreak: your critical fanbase still thinks G/S/C were the best and you haven't improved since.

like the only massive things i can think of that really added to the games are mega-evolutions and fairy type.

I grew up with Sapphire/Ruby. The fuck u on about m8?

Best games in the series and the Alpha/Omega versions made them even better
if you share more than one link on facebook per week, chances are excellent that you are an idiot
if you share pictures with tumblr comments or emojis in the whitespace, you are definitely an idiot

if you grew up on sapphire/ruby then you probably played them first.
generally speaking gamefreak's most critical fans started at the beginning with r/b(g)/y

different venues of social network-y tend to have different rules of what is acceptable content. some places favor relatable factor or pure humor factor over quality (e.g. instagram screencaps reuploaded through instagram x10)
other places favor non-cookie cutter discussion over content like facepunch. you can get banned here for saying "inb4" because apparently the mods consider it a 'meme'. (?????)
it's all about where you go and who you surround yourself with.
generally speaking, the most popular places on the internet have predictable and lowest quality content, the least meaningful or non-facetious discussion, and the most immature social behavior simply because they have the most people posting/sharing that content.

I started with RGY myself and I've always thought people who consider GSC the best generation to be smoking something. RSE is my personal favorite. It's an upgrade to full color SNES quality graphics, better sound, an interesting world, it introduces abilities, secret bases, berry planting, and pokemon contests. The only thing it's actually missing from GSC that I think would make it better is the day/night cycle though I can see why that would be removed since it'd make it pretty hard for a lot of players to catch night time pokemon what with actually having a life.
The only ones I've liked since then are the remakes of Ruby and Sapphire. The worlds in the newer ones tend to feel a lot more bland, many of the pokemon just don't seem like the older generations (they're feeling more and more like digimon in visual design to me), they just come up with a new team X to be the villain focus for the story, and I'm honestly not a big fan of the 3d engine they started using after RSE. The battles are pretty alright but the simplicity of the actual world design they use ends up looking really bad in their 3d engine.
I find most slow pased music to be really boring, and I don't really get the appeal for it.

What's really wrong with it? Some people are just looking for something/somebody to relate to. I share music all of the time with likeminded people on Facebook.

it isn't a causal relationship.
People aren't stupid because they share tons things on facebook - people who are stupid share tons of things on facebook.
fuck 'sharing' either way though. Ideally, facebook would be a place where you can keep up to date and keep in contact with people you don't see regularly. Instead, it's internet show-and-tell where everybody gets to share hil-arious inane videos that they found five seconds ago.
I could die happily if I never saw another picture of kermit the frog drinking tea with a smug caption about syrian refugees
i see the kermit with tea thing more often on 4chan/8chan than anywhere else

This isn't even an opinion, this is just fucking retarded drivel.
i see the kermit with tea thing more often on 4chan/8chan than anywhere else
I've only seen it once on Facebook, but that's probably because it's drowned out in other shit like Minions and stolen "Gaming Memes" that are Big Bang Theory tier comedy. Haven't seen it on 4chan or 8chan, though I don't browse really browse 8chan much anymore because the top boards are just awful.

That doesn't make it not an opinion.
Facebook is a terrible way of keeping in contact with people. If you want to see your friends again, you're gonna have to get outdoors and look for them. I made a whole bunch of contacts during the summer which all formed into a group chat - guess who's the one that bothers to bump it in hopes of any further progress?
In amongst all the emoji and vines, I just post normally while greentexting to tell stories or explain things. Always be the diamond in the rough.
I just try to keep track of emails.
Ive failed.
For a really unpopular opinion, I think for an experiment all races should settle in their own region in the US. Its already happening on its own. Why not?

There is quite mishmash of races making that quite next to impossible, is he one percent more race X than race Y?

People are more predominantly then the other in some shape or form. That how they feel any ways.\
The idea is if everyone is like each other then the focus will be more on the problems, instead of a member of another race.
If you look at the 2010 census, you will notice a lot of black are in the east coast. Now if there was an all black communities, with black congressmen, all black police forces, all black schools, then it would focus on the issues for that community. Whatever else that would remain can then be truly considered due to white imposed issues.
It might be silly for me to say this but I've become more concerned on some people's mental health rather than the subject they are arguing about

I have come to that conclusion a long ago. Which is all of the issues facing America and the world today is due to emotional and psychological issues.

It would be interesting but its impossible to implement without a very powerful dictator at the helm.
Good luck convincing everybody this isn't secretly a plan to kill all undesirables.
You would be far better sectioning off a part of the planet and throwing a bunch of babies at carefully selected parts of land designed to be as similar as possible and seeing what happens if they have to in large part make their own civilization (with some help).

Otherwise relatively sane individuals can do incredibly stupid/weird stuff for a sense of social conformity and a sense of superiority. Seems to me less likely to be the result of madness but rather the kind of behavior that would arise from being in a cult.

You know, being in Facepunch I know people act like big ol' babies about the most stupid, inconsequential little things.
But this is really something else.

nerds love to complain that everyone is "too sensitive these days" yet i always see those exact same people on the internet fuming over shit like this, give me a fuckin break lol

If you look at the 2010 census map, the races are separating of their own accord.
