i've always loved Dark Souls art direction because i feel like it embraces classical fantasy but with a darker twist
I hate Dark Souls art direction because it looks like he was envisioned by a Japanese dude that wanted to make a videogame out of as many western medieval fantasy clichés as possible
I hate Dark Souls art direction because it looks like he was made by a Japanese dude that wanted to make a videogame with as many western medieval fantasy clichés as possible
This is exactly why I love it. Same with Dragon's Dogma.
Dark souls and witcher fantasy > any other high fantasy art style, both dark souls and the witcher games' designs are so much better because they take inspiration from actual medieval weaponry and armours instead of just plastering spikes and dumb huge pauldrons on what looks like medieval kevlar vests.
I see nothing wrong with eating horse
i see no problem with eating most animals. the concern comes from how theyre killed. so long as its as "humane" as possible, then go for it i guess.
tbh morally speaking eating horse seems way better than eating pigs, which are very intelligent and full of personality it's a shame they're so good at turning garbage into meat
while we're on the subject, I hate bikers with an insane passion. Yeah, yeah, I know, most bikers are normal human beings and only a few are shitty. I don't care. every time some tough-guy biker cunt with a wall-shaking muffler that sounds like a portal to the chainsaw universe does 50mph down my residential street at 3 in the morning, I fantasize about hearing him lose control and dash his nicotine-stained physical form against a telephone pole. The hell's angels are fucking cunts and Harley culture is for inbreds. I don't feel sorry for bikers at all, safety wise - if you make the decision to ride an internal-combustion bicycle on public roads, you do not get to complain about safety. If the motorcycle was invented today, in 2015, it would never be made road legal because it's an insane suicide vehicle.
What about actual bikes? My brother bikes up to fifteen miles some days because he has to stay fit for the military, and so far the one accident was caused by someone else who rammed into him, flinging him off his bike. It sucked.
The Church of Scientology should be shut down and all the leaders should be put in a federal prison.
In my country the hate car drivers and pedestrians alike have towards people on bycicles and motorcycles is of memetic proportions Those people share the same roads with everyone else but, on an average, they utterly REFUSE to follow ANY rule or law whatsoever about it: they never stops at the red light or at anything else really, if there are more than two of them at a time they spread horizontally through the whole street and won't allow anyone else to get past them and they often ride on sidewalks, sometimes even ringing their bells, demanding pedestrians to get the fuck out
The people that huff in puff in the drivers seat want them on the sidewalk, and then the people who huff and puff on the sidewalk want them on the street. Then the people who are driving want them to stop at all stop signs because they're not able to themselves, not because they're actually interested in enforcing rules (which aren't always necessary). As much as bikers can be pompous assholes, that's those specific biker's problem, not a biker problem.
The Church of Scientology should be shut down and all the leaders should be put in a federal prison.
anyone who does research into scientology will agree with you, this is the common opinion on the topic
i think the catholic church gets too much of a bad rap all things considered over its two thousand years of existence, i still see it as a largely positive influence overall
i think the catholic church gets too much of a bad rap all things considered over its two thousand years of existence, i still see it as a largely positive influence overall
Tbh it's such a mixed bag, there's good charitable work in there, but also some horrendous shit even in the modern day, such as their stance on contraceptives in Africa
I think the core Christian worldview is absolutely lovely and actually quite insightful it's just the accoutrements of the religion as an organization that people find themselves criticizing
What about actual bikes? My brother bikes up to fifteen miles some days because he has to stay fit for the military, and so far the one accident was caused by someone else who rammed into him, flinging him off his bike. It sucked.
bikers = motorcycles, cyclists = bicycles as far as I understand it anyway the problem with cyclists in the US is that they don't have a role on the road because the infrastructure is not designed for them
I think the core Christian worldview is absolutely lovely and actually quite insightful it's just the accoutrements of the religion as an organization that people find themselves criticizing
I think the religion is corrupt. Not in Hillary Clinton corrupt but as in lost data and revised corrupt. I do sincerely believe Jesus (if he did exist or who ever was the founder of that system) was "esoteric" concerning spirituality. I believe he was trying to teach people to obtain a very specific mystical goal. Then it got lost, misinterpreted, re written or mixed in with other ideas and faiths. What ever the original content of the message was, has been lost to time.
i see no problem with eating most animals. the concern comes from how theyre killed. so long as its as "humane" as possible, then go for it i guess.
On that topic, I consider the concept of "humane killing" to be rather ridiculous. The animal ends up dead either way so how it dies doesn't really make a difference. Not to mention how much of an oxymoron the word itself is.
The animal ends up dead either way so how it dies doesn't really make a difference.
...so what you're saying is that it's fine to kill animals? I mean, the utter nihilism approach doesn't really work for anything. If the ends justify the means and the end is always death, why are we even eating food in the first place
...so what you're saying is that it's fine to kill animals? I mean, the utter nihilism approach doesn't really work for anything. If the ends justify the means and the end is always death, why are we even eating food in the first place
I do think killing animals can be justified as long as the meat isn't wasted and depending on the way it's used, but that's irrelevant to my opinion about "humane killing". If you value the life of those animals, the many days they spend living in pitiful conditions are several orders of magnitude more concerning than the few seconds of pain they experience before their death.

Rap should be classified as a mental disorder, not a music genre.
Galaxy Quest is a really fun movie
Rap should be classified as a mental disorder, not a music genre.
woah slow down you might hurt some one with this cutting edge commentary
Rap should be classified as a mental disorder, not a music genre.
Are you 9?
Rap should be classified as a mental disorder, not a music genre.
While I think it's possible to 100% dislike a genre, I consider it a personal failing to not find at least one song from a generally disliked genre enjoyable.
Galaxy Quest is a really fun movie
galaxy quest is really good, I had watched 0 star trek when I first saw that movie and I still loved it it's even funnier now that I've watched star trek

Like, seriously, there's so many sub-genres of rap and so many different angles to approach it that you probably have to be uninterested and unexposed to dislike the whole thing. It's like saying Rock sucks, because then you're criticizing literally all sub-genres alongside it as well as its history and that's not fair.

What would you think would be great examples of the genre?

But thinking rap is a mental illness is well... stupid?
