you're gonna be sucking dick for stale burritos before the end of the year
It'll be my gateway to managing every Chipotle in a 5 mile radius, so I can then absorb all of the mom & pop restaurants that serve spicy dishes. I will have full control.
I can't seem to give a shit about Fallout 4, knowing Bethesda games it will most likely be buggy as shit on launch
the new warcraft movie wont be as good as the hype says
The acronym DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) is an ever shittier name for a genre. It doesn't describe what the genre is like at all. Don't get me wrong, MOBA isn't great but at least it covers the some of bases it needs to. It's not like RTS or RPG are incredibly descriptive either, but they describe the basics. Unless you mean when people call MOBAs "DOTA-Clones", which while fitting for some is doing many decent MOBA's a disservice. What's wrong with not wanting to be arbitrarily compared to another game simply because it's the same genre? They can still be completely different games despite having similar core mechanics. Calling it a clone would contradict that. I mean FPS games used to always be called Doom-Clones. Is the fact that FPS became a more relevent term "disgusting"? No. FPS as a genre has evolved tremendously since then, and there' countless different types of shooters that are completely different than Doom. Calling them all Doom-Clones would be dumb as shit.
The majority of the large MOBAs (Dota, LoL) are perfectly described by the Dota acronym though. Smite is somewhat, but it has gamemodes that are not and in that sense I would say a broader term would be better, but for the most part the structure of a "moba" is two bases, both with an "ancient" or whatever game you're playing calls them that you defend/attack. Disgusting was the wrong word but it's bothersome because the major players in the genre don't fit the MOBA title. That's why I said dota made sense. I'd there was something with similar words so they weren't called a dota clone fine, I get that.
Blizzard Entertainment can still redeem themselves in the Emperor's holy gaze.
As someone who is currently replaying the whole series and just finished 2, it still boggles my mind that it could be anyone's favorite MGS.
I think the graphics and level of detail were amazing. [editline]4th November 2015[/editline]
If a game is called a MOBA it's shit. This is why I am fine with the term. I don't care what it means, but it's a red flag big enough to warn me of potential time wasted.
That's not the point though. Point is almost any game out there can be considered a "MOBA" - Let's break it down: 1) Multiplayer (A lot of different types of games) 2) Online (Repeating the above basically) 3) Battle (Again, many different types of games fall under this) 4) Arena (Another "ubiquitous" or a loose term, that could mean anything from a Splatoon map, to a location based on France in Battlefield, and to DotA/LoL maps, none of which are even actual "arenas" really.) So, you see, it's completely a retarded term.

the perfect acronym has already been decided upon years ago, and it's ASSFAGGOTS Aeon of Strife-Styled Fortress Assault Game Going On Two Sides you can even shorten it to ASSFAG if you want to be mildly more inclusive for games that involve more than two teams/non-Dota map layouts
I think the Warcraft movie looks like garbage.
I understand that the CGI isn't finished but it's basically impossible to make a movie in a 100% fantasy setting using greenscreen all the time that looks good without a huge budget. I'll have to wait for an official trailer before I make any real judgements
What does this even mean? Style is something that is qualitative and subjective; all games have their own "style" which may appeal to some people and not to others. The quality of a game's graphics on the other hand can be measured objectively, ie how closely they can emulate real life (which by definition must take only one form, hence objective). These are clearly two different attributes of a videogame and yet I continue to see people comparing them as if they can be appraised in the same fashion. They cannot. Yes they do. If they didn't then game developers wouldn't invest millions of dollars into developing their games' graphics.
Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean it isn't real, egoraptor.
I think the PSVita is a pretty cool handheld ...and I thought Transistor was a pretty subpar game.
I've always felt the 3DS is missing horsepower, and the Vita is missing a better library. 3DS wins for me because it has Monster Hunter, Mario Kart and Pokemon, but I still wonder what could've been if it was as powerful as the Vita.
The Steam Controller looks as if it's trying to fix what ain't broke.
This may seem like a popular opinion but its surprising how many people don't know this. ACTUAL FACTS WIN OVER OPINIONS.
I'm ok with micros when it's in a free game in which you can get the thing with in game dosh anyway.
Idunno I think DOTA as an acronym makes sense if you think of the context of what an "ancient" means in dota. Pretty much every Dota clone, dota variant and clone made pay to win offshoot features something that fits the description of an "ancient." Even SMNC, probably the most offshooty of the offshoots has "ancients."
but the "ancients" in dota i thought meant actual ancients in warcraft yknow cuz it was a warcraft mod anyway back on topic: quake live was better off f2p
Cancer is mother natures way of telling us that we're not in control. I still believe there is no cure and there never will be a cure. :(
Star trek the next generation is much better than the first. Shatner is a terrible actor overall.
Star trek the next generation is much better than the first. Shatner is a terrible actor overall.
i'm pretty sure this is pretty popular
but the "ancients" in dota i thought meant actual ancients in warcraft yknow cuz it was a warcraft mod anyway back on topic: quake live was better off f2p
It's honestly just a name for the two big structures you defend/attack. You could call them shit stacks and as long as they had the same function it'd be ok.
i'm pretty sure this is pretty popular
Maybe, I only know what my friends think and they love Shatner.
Wat
Basically i believe Cancer is incurable and forever will be. Its one of those illnesses to keep the population down. Although yes people have "fought" cancer and had that cancer removed, but cancer does tend to pop up again and you're really lucky if it doesnt.
The Steam Controller looks as if it's trying to fix what ain't broke.
It did a pretty good fucking job at it, let me tell you that much.
Basically i believe Cancer is incurable and forever will be. Its one of those illnesses to keep the population down.
How can it be incurable? You make it sound like it was designed
How can it be incurable? You make it sound like it was designed
He's saying its a natural human force that is designed to destroy us to naturally curb population and attempts to cure it are in vain. It's not designed by anything other than our own genes.
Basically i believe Cancer is incurable and forever will be. Its one of those illnesses to keep the population down.
But we've found ways to get rid of different strains. We haven't found a definitive cure for any of it but it's totally possible to stop it.
He's saying its a natural human force that is designed to destroy us to naturally curb population and attempts to cure it are in vain. It's not designed by anything other than our own genes.
That doesn't really suggest it's incurable though
Cancer is mother natures way of telling us that we're not in control. I still believe there is no cure and there never will be a cure. :(
There's no such thing as a overall cure for cancer. Cancer isn't just one disease, it's hundreds of different diseases that share a few common symptoms. For example, let's use TotalBiscuit and my cousin my cousin just died of soft tissue Sarcoma affecting the lungs. That disease had to do with tumors in his lungs In contrast, TB's cancer is compromised of a few different types of cancer. He originally had Bowel cancer which then spread to the liver and metastasized. TB's life is in danger because the cancer is in his bloodstream and spreading fast. Some cancers are easy to treat and some are impossible to treat. There's never going to be a miracle cure for all strains but I am sure that eventually there will be a cure for most, if not all, cancers.
Easiest cure for it would be literally chop the part off where is it on. Of course if you have it growing near/on something vital then that clearly won't be an option.
In that case perhaps rather then curing cancer we will first achieve acceptable vital organ substitutes.
