I like the shit talking in online video games
I like the shit talking in online video games
Unless it's not in English
Unless it's not in English
I kinda find fully translated shittalking in my own language really amusing too. There's a certain thing that's just amusing by translating English terms sometimes. Generally, it's more fun when you understand it, I suppose
George Carlin was not "truthful" or "inspiring" or "deep" It's called observational humor. He wasn't some sort of philosophical pioneer or some shit. Half of the time when people cite "OH MAN LOOK AT THIS THING HE SAID HE'S SO RIGHT" it's fucking common sense.
I get what you're saying but I wouldn't say what he said was always common sense. He's very opinionated on stuff involving comedy, religion and politics.
I get what you're saying but I wouldn't say what he said was always common sense. He's very opinionated on stuff involving comedy, religion and politics.
It's the fact that people treat him as the return of Diogenes or something
I like the shit talking in online video games
Depends on the shit talking. It needs to have a certain amount of creativity (X1000 FUCK YOUR MOMMA does not qualify). If via voice chat the volume needs to remain somewhat reasonable. The shit talker should have enough social skills to actually be able to tell how much is shit talk is just right and how much shit talk is too much.
I like the shit talking in online video games
There was a guy on my team in dota who told the other team we'd beat them quickly so they could go clean the cum off of their wall that they call their girlfriend [editline]14th December 2015[/editline] I thought it was hilarious tbh
What I don't get is why companies are convinced its cutting into their sales. I'm pretty sure most cases of piracy, the person would sooner not buy the product if they couldn't obtain it through piracy.
Depends on the person and depends on the product. Piracy definitely results in lost sales. They definitely DON'T result to lost sales in the ludicrous quantities that the RIAA and other such cocksuckers claim.
They are two very different things. Did you mean to say manicures? Just wondering because it seemed really odd to put them together.
no. i put them together because i felt the same way about both of them and making a new sentence would be unnecessary.
People are probably going to try and bash me into the ground for saying this, but Undertale is a ripoff of the Mother series. I would be happy to provide proof if anyone wants it.
People are probably going to try and bash me into the ground for saying this, but Undertale is a ripoff of the Mother series. It's no secret that the creator likes the Mother series a lot and its influences are pretty easily seen. He wouldn't have put the emblem that the Starmen wear on Papyrus if he was trying to be sneaky about it or something. "Quirky, Mother-inspired RPG" is practically its own sub-genre at this point, honestly.
People are probably going to try and bash me into the ground for saying this, but Undertale is a ripoff of the Mother series. I would be happy to provide proof if anyone wants it.
It's inspired by the Mother series, but calling it a rip-off is flat out wrong.
It's inspired by the Mother series, but calling it a rip-off is flat out wrong.
it feels like an homage, definitely not a ripoff though, IMO undertale is better than mother
People are probably going to try and bash me into the ground for saying this, but Undertale is a ripoff of the Mother series. I would be happy to provide proof if anyone wants it.
post it then, instead of just rating people who disagree with you dumb
it feels like an homage, definitely not a ripoff though, IMO undertale is better than mother
I have to agree. Maybe I was just too young, but I was much more interested in the gameplay of the mother games than the story itself. I can't say the same about undertale though, because the story and characters are the main selling points for me
People are probably going to try and bash me into the ground for saying this, but Undertale is a ripoff of the Mother series. I would be happy to provide proof if anyone wants it.
You can't rip off something when the rip off adds things that changes the entire experience. Yes, the graphic style is similar. Yes, the writing is ment to be quirky. Yes, the protagonists look similar with their silence and striped shirts. But does the Mother series have multiple endings, a moral system, a bullet hell style of combat, and, oh right, a pacifism system that was advertised as the main selling point of the game. If Undertale is a ripoff of Mother, then Sonic is a ripoff of the Mario series. Oh look it's another platformer with a protagonist that jumps on enemies to beat them inspired by the former. If you don't like it that's perfectly fine, but calling it a ripoff isn't an opinion, it's just wrong.
nah bro don't you get it inspiration = ripoff
people realy underestimate prison time
people realy underestimate prison time
Especially judges that think 40 years in solitary confinement is anywhere near reasonable or humane.
To be honest, just one year in prison would fucking wreck me as a person. I can't even imagine ten. 25 or more seems unbelievably awful.
People are probably going to try and bash me into the ground for saying this, but Undertale is a ripoff of the Mother series. I would be happy to provide proof if anyone wants it.
Confirmed for never have played the game.
people are insulting disney for being too aggressive in their marketing campaign for star wars but i have seen so many more star wars-related things on facepunch, reddit, social media, etc. individuals are just as responsible for the hype mentality, if not more, than corporations
To be fair I don't mind the hyping, what do you expect them to do? Just sit around?
the issue is that star wars is being treated like fallout 4 on steroids, everyone is acting like its the second coming of jesus so it's impossible for the game to live up to the standards they've created
Jar Jar Binks is awesome
I like Linkin Park [sp]I don't pay attention to the lyrics or messages or anything. What I mean is that some songs sound really nice on my ears. Like, musically, they're not bad. A good example is "What I've Done."[/sp] [editline]15th December 2015[/editline]
the issue is that star wars is being treated like fallout 4 on steroids, everyone is acting like its the second coming of jesus so it's impossible for the game to live up to the standards they've created
I'd also like to point out that there's a fuckload of people who wouldn't give a rat's ass about Star Wars if it wasn't the latest, hypest thing.
To be fair I don't mind the hyping, what do you expect them to do? Just sit around?
With due respect, I'm fucking tired of being exposed to Star Wars at any given hour of the day, especially if the advertising involves children
I don't know why parents have to tell their kids that shit like santa, easter bunny and tooth fairy are real. Why can't they just be treated as mascots instead of telling your kids that they are real beings, why lie to kids like that? I mean they are still going to be getting their presents and chocolate eggs from their parents anyway, and they are going to be disappointing when they come to the realization that its just bullshit. Maybe I'm just being too much of a funkiller. I've met a couple adults (18 year old girls) that still believe in santa.
let kids have their fun, believing in santa was great
let kids have their fun, believing in santa was great
I guess you are right, I'm probably just going off by my own experiences (I had doubts santa existed when I was a kid but I didn't care because his existence wouldn't add or remove anything from the experience for me)
