I find Star Trek/Wars/Gate to be boring and silly.
Growing up in Canada, I never heard anyone call it soda instead of pop until I was about 9 or 10. I'm 21 and it still sounds weird to me. [editline]26th December 2015[/editline] Sounds like baking soda
Half of Americans refer to all carbonated beverages as "Coke".
I've been watching One Punch Man, and I must say once the initial humor of the concept wears off it's a really boring series. I only have 3 episodes left and I'll most likely watch them since it won't take too long but I found myself skipping through the last episode and idly doing other stuff for a number of the others. It has its laughs but when it doesn't it's just a snoozefest.
highschool is a joke. idgaf about my classes im just trying to pass at the bare minimum so I can go to community college.
highschool is a joke. idgaf about my classes im just trying to pass at the bare minimum so I can go to community college.
CC student to probable future CC student, that's straight not true. Getting your start at a university helps hugely in future career options. Plus High School is only 4 years, and tbh only the middle 2 years matter to colleges. Yes, high school is a joke, but it's one part of a joke of a flawed clusterfuck of a system that you can't change and are forced to be a part of if you want a nice job in the near future.
High School.
Provincial/State exams should make up the majority of your marks in highschool. Drawing a shitty/evil teacher shouldn't fuck you for life. You have no choice in your teachers in HS so it only seems fair.
Turn based combat is boring
Turn based combat is boring
only time when i like turn based combat is when its done fire emblem style
Turn based combat is boring
I can't stand JRPG style stuff but XCOM is awesome as fuck.
I love Jagged Alliance 2 but the combat is booooooring
Sam Smith's theme for Spectre sucks.
I love Jagged Alliance 2 but the combat is booooooring
It's boring when there are too many enemies on the field and they take five minutes to individually run five yards towards you That's definitely a game that could've done with some turn streamlining. I also wish xcom had taken a page from its 'real-time when not in combat' book. they're both legendary though
Turn based combat is boring
Real time combat is a cluster fuck when it comes to certain games.
Not only would it just be a clusterfuck it would also simply not allow for certain games/genres to exist entirely. There is a beauty to be found in making one move at a time (see chess). Turn based combat has its own unique place in gaming.
These are the only genders: MALE, FEMALE, AND TRANS There are no other genders.
These are the only genders: MALE, FEMALE, AND TRANS There are no other genders.
I like how you included trans to round up every configuration that confuses you I'm not on the snowflake bandwagon by any stretch of the imagination but I don't think your classification is very robust
Maybe I'm ignorant, but what other genders are there?
Well, there are two biological beginnings and a number of different physical end states. For instance, you could start off as a dude, have your penis surgically turned into a vagina, and then remain male in all other aspects. Trans? Sure. But it's not a very precise description. Then you have the people who say that gender is entirely a social construct (with 'sex' being your biological description) and that the two are separate. A little shortsighted IMO, but within this system there are basically an endless number of labels because it's up to individuals to describe themselves.
Episode VII might be on par with Episode IV in a vacuum, but it's not as good as a sequel considering how similar it is to A New Hope. I mean when you do the same thing twice it's not as effective the second time. Not that it's a bad movie by any means.
Keep in mind, it's also a re-introduction.
Maybe I'm ignorant, but what other genders are there?
there are no other genders, people like to turn personality traits and quirks and animals and things that BIOLOGICALLY are not a gender into a gender. There are only males, and females, and trans. Anything else is made up, insanity, or a birth defect. [editline]27th December 2015[/editline] There are, however, quite a big handfull of sexualities, Straight, Gay/Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans, (asexual and pansexual could be considered sexualities but in my opinion asexuality is the person is simply just dis-interested in sex or hasn't discovered/is not interested in any gender, pansexuality is much like bisexuality. But again I will consider asexuality and pansexuality as a sexuality.)
There are only males, and females, and trans.
There are at least males, females, MtF transsexuals, FtM transsexuals, eunuchs, and partial transsexuals of various configurations.
There are at least males, females, MtF transsexuals, FtM transsexuals, eunuchs, and partial transsexuals of various configurations.
Yea I can see that, but partial transexuals??? You mean: People who havent gone all the way. Dosen't really need to be turned into a whole new gender. >eunuchs ??????
These are the only genders: MALE, FEMALE, AND TRANS There are no other genders.
to be honest i just think there's males and females, that is two. trans people are just in a state of transition from one to the other to be transgender means that your gender does not align with your birth sex. considering that there are only really two birth sexes (minus a few chromosomal disorders), it follows that there's only really ultimately two possible endstates for somebody in transition (from male to female or female to male).
There are at least males, females, MtF transsexuals, FtM transsexuals, eunuchs, and partial transsexuals of various configurations.
eunuchs aren't a gender, a eunuch is just a type of slave

I once read a 500+ word essay made by someone that thought cucumber was a genuine gender that they identified as. I believe there's two : male and female and obviously trans is transitioning between either. I have a similar issue with sexualities, which I think I've already posted on here about. People don't seem to understand what a sexuality is. Being only attracted to older people shouldn't be classified as a brand new sexuality. If you're into older men as a man, you're (probably) a gay with a thing for older men. You're not oldageerectusexual. I feel like people are going to hate me for saying that. Sure, you don't have to slap a label on yourself but these people usually are trying to label themselves by saying they are loafsexual, a brand new sexuality that relies on only liking people that have bread fetishes.
I once read a 500+ word essay made by someone that thought cucumber was a genuine gender that they identified as.
Part of me is weirdly curious enough to want to read this.
Not sure if this is unpopular or not, but Until Dawn has done the entire story thing better than most, if not all telltale story games.
Not sure if this is unpopular or not, but Until Dawn has done the entire story thing better than most, if not all telltale story games.
I was a fan of how the story worked because I find in Telltale tames, the ones I played at least, choices had less repercussions. It boiled down to "Yeah you built an unhealthy relationship with this guy and you should logically kill him. You should have already killed him. He's an ass. But we gave you the choice to pick between him and your bestie so you feel like your effort was worth something". The story itself was quite good to me. I appreciated the initial intentional focus on horror film clichés (people are gonna be stupid and have sex in creepy places etc.) and also I actually expressed "positive" emotion when playing Until Dawn. Telltale games quickly boiled down to "3 months until the next 1 1/2 hour episode wahoo" for me.
While we're talking about internet LGBTQ things, demisexuality is dumb imo. If you don't know what it is, it's an identity that says that the holder needs to form an emotional bond with someone before getting all sexual up in their grill. It's dumb because sexuality is who you love (gay/lesb for same sex, hetero for opposite, bi for two or more, pan for all), but not really how you go about loving. If someone prefers only one-night stands, they don't call themselves a spontaneasexual or something.
