Unpopular Opinions V5: "I still don't like Half Life 2."
I'm not sure if this is an unpopular opinion around here, but almost everywhere on the internet I see people bashing it, so I'll post here anyway:
I really like the scene on Spider-Man 3 where Peter Parker goes into a little dance after walking out of a store with a brand new suit. It just felt so silly, I couldn't help but love it.
The other dance scene on the restaurant was still rubbish, though. That's why I'm not linking to it. I use my hyperlinks sparingly.
I can't believe some people think that scene is supposed to be serious. It's my favorite part of the entire spiderman series
are we talking about medieval 2 total war?
I always tried to assassinate the pope, I'm not going on his shitty crusades every 5 turns
I started a Christian heresy, killed the Pope, and genocided Rome as the Holy Roman Empire after the Cardinals chose France's candidate for the position over mine.

what people fail to realize is that he's acting like a fucking dork impersonating their own perception of someone who is "cool"
its supposed to be completely ridiculous

Yeah, in fact, it's so dorky and ridiculous it sort of circles back into cool.
I mean, being cool is looking like you don't give a fuck, and we know Peter oozes self-confidence on the symbiote. So I feel like he's saying: "I don't give a fuck about what you're thinking, I'll dance here on the middle of the street because I fucking feel like it, I don't even care if I'm terrible at dancing." And I kind of respect that attitude.
Not sure if this is unpopular, but innies >>>> outies 100% of the time
The Mega Drive/SNES era of games was the peak of consoles and its all got progressively worse since.
Honestly, committing mass murder against a people who would had as well made arrangments for Christians to be allowed to visit the Holy Land in accordance to their religion sounds like a bloody waste to me
if they didn't eradicate the muslims then europe would've been taken over by islam and we would probably be muslims too
Taco Bell isn't bad.
I wonder how Taco Bell got to be so well known.
Has anyone here heard of Del Taco? I think that place is way better and deserves much more fame than Taco Bell.

The threat of Islam taking over Europe had been ended a good 300 years before the First Crusade.

Not necessarily as bad as execution but it was a lot worse than nothing (if that's what you're implying with an ellipses)
Things like shunned from pretty much everyone for "turning your back on God", you'd probably end up homeless starving in the street or informally beaten/stoned to death.

Don't paint islam as the only evil during that time, mainstream religion was shit in the dark ages from all sides.
[editline]asdf[/editline]
Also shocking use of "eradicate", I fear for your future event log.
The Sega Genesis had better music than the SNES, hands down. That shit sounded awesome.

At least the western world moved past that, apostasy is a crime in 3/4th of all muslim countries

I was talking about pretty much just the dark ages and before then. Obviously Muslim countries have a couple hundred years of catching up to do, but that doesn't undo what Christianity did ages ago.

The Muslim world was actually close to "catching up" until the 70's when fundamental Islam went on the rise. If we wanna compare "social progress" by year, which is hard to do:
Turkey: Comparable to early 20th century Europe
Saudi Arabia: Comparable to 17th century Europe

same thing for afghanistan too, it used to flourish pretty well until that happened
Intros with no action in porn can be pretty hot if done right.
same thing for afghanistan too, it used to flourish pretty well until that happened
"That" being the Soviet Invasion and multiple coup attempts against a fairly secular regime that lead to the United States funding a guerrilla campaign
and oh also by the way Afghanistan shouldn't even exist it's a western invention made by Russia and Britain
Being obsessed with a football team is not a "manly" thing.
Being obsessed with a Football team is a lot gayer than being obsessed with a band.
The reason i think this is....
Football consists of a group of men, kicking a ball in a net to score goals, and watching them trip over sticks and crying to get a free shot. So sad.
Bands, you get their music which can connect to you personally and you get a performance (in some cases) when seeing them live.
So if people ever consider you unmanly for not liking football, just think that they are people (manly men) obsessing over a group of men.
I would completely understand if people obsessed over the football game in general, thats fine, but when you are so obsessed with a team, its quite creepy.

Being obsessed with a band is teenage cringe tho
Most "manly" things are the most "gayest" things.
Theres always that little bit of gay in manly manliness
We're all a little gay.
(apart from me, im a lottle gay.)
lottle
using this
what?
lottle, it's a great word that I'm going to use
[editline]8th January 2016[/editline]
meaning you can't have it anymore. It's mine. It's only available to me.
Too late you can't complain I have it copyrighted
The threat of Islam taking over Europe had been ended a good 300 years before the First Crusade.
The Muslim threat actually continued well into the 1600s when the ottomans took over a massive swath of Europe and imposed their varied degeneracies upon the people of the balkans. The Greeks weren't free of moslem domination until 1830 and loads of other European nations only gained independence from the ottomans as recently as a century ago.
There's also the mongol invasions to consider, the medieval seljuks, etc.
What a lot of people don't realise is that in the space of a single lifetime over half of civilisation was taken over by barbarian tribes from Arabia. In the process they nearly conquered France, Italy, etc. The crusades were basically a collection of weak semi-barbarous kingdoms sending expeditions against powerful and rich moslem empires. It is only in the modern era that the tables really turned.
I have no idea why Europeans are so keen on permitting immigration.
Not every european country wants them in. :boxhide:
my government offered to let 5000 refugees in but only 50 accepted lol
