I dunno man, those bugs were hurling giant asteroids at our planet.
Buenos Aires was a false flag. No way they could have hit Earth with asteroid from across the galaxy. At sublight speeds.
Humans aren't the worst. But they're Xenophobic and Fanatical.
Also a decent number of humans serve the Chaos Gods, so they're not good lol.
there are corrupt members of all species you filthy heretic!

Long as you don't mind playing as the generic good guy soldiers that think the other side is evil.

the great thing about killzone is that your guys are the bad ones
like seriously the helghast look intimidating as fuck, but the isa kill [sp]visari, the one man that repaired the pride of the helghast and re-united them, causing a massive power struggle between remaining members of the order, then nuke the entire fucking planet, causing the death of millions of innocents[/sp]
I've never looked at that game like this before, I gotta replay that shit again

They're both shit, ISA are power and money hungry assholes and the Helghans are revenge seeking lunatics.
and for a good reason I'd say, the Helghans got fucked over so hard numerous times, it's not surprising they want revenge
Dead space series technically doesn't count but humans do some really fucked up shit in that series resulting in necromorphs
I guess any game that has humans VS humans doesn't count, otherwise I'd be counting a few more games (like Metro, Bioshock)

My life is a lie.
The Ender's Game movie [sp]the humans were attacking a peaceful race and saying they were defending themselves iirc, then tricked a young child into wiping them out. The imbd page disagrees but I'm pretty sure the humans shot first[/sp]

na the books give a full description
[sp] basically they attacked us first, they didn't understand us, couldn't really see us, so they started first, then we wiped their attacks, but ya the second or third war that ender faught was totally a war of agression [/sp]
honestly ender's games (i know theres like 20+ books) wasn't really all that good, maybe because we sort of have plenty of experience with simulated 0-g fighting with great videogames but it dwells far too long on the novelty of fighting hand to hand in zero gravity while the actual war is very quick glanced over, plus i-win-buttons don't make convincing scifi
Starcraft 1 & BW are this down to a tee. EachTerran faction is comprised of arseholes, though I suppose they have to be when faced with the Protoss and Zerg.
but we were trying to wipe them out as much as they were us, plus we didn't really give a damn that some types of bugs were sentient
I don't remember exactly what caused the bug war in the books(but the humans were pieces of shit there too considering they conduct a raid on the skinnies just to get the upperhand in negotiations) but the arachnids launched the asteroid that wiped out BA as retaliation for mormon extremists setting up an unsanctioned colony on one of their planets.
District 9?

I last read it 5 or so years ago, so I'm a bit fuzzy, but the buggers ran into a human scouting operation, and for whatever killed the humans; not realizing each human was sentient. Basically this ends in the first big war, wherein Rackham blows the queen up and wins the war. The humans know these suckers are still out there, so beings the mass weapons pileup before and during Ender's Game.
Also, in defense of the "Training Games" in space, they are supposed to teach the students to give up ships, and that only one ship needs to get in range of the planet to drop a Dr.Device; I actually felt the movie conveyed this better than the book. Overall the humans become somewhat of dickbags on earth, and also way later with the Descolada virus and "piggies".
Babylon 5, the entire human government is fuckin up and ends up in a bloody civil war while hating aliens. And the psycorps and nightwatch are like the SS and SA.
Fire Warrior. You literally play an alien, and you fight humans, who are a zenophobic empire bent on exterminating every fucking thing.
The only movie I can think of is Avatar, and that movie is just a generic hero arc. It's dumb.
I do actually have a game suggestion, though, but it may be a spoiler: [sp]the first two Penumbra games.[/sp]

Way to go, every time someone mentions stuff 40K related I end up reading the lore for like an hour.
Section 8 there use to be aliens but they went somewhere...
James Cameron's Avatar
Shit movie but it fits what you're looking for.

You mean "Disney's Pocahontas: In Space!" ?
Amen man. God that movie sucked...
I'd say if the humans didn't get aggressive the bugs wouldn't have responded.
Fuck you the only good bug is a dead bug
In FTL: Faster Than Light the rebels are human supremacists and they fucked over the peaceful, multiracial Federation. It's a roguelike, sci-fi spaceship sim but it's got some cool background story in it too.

Well in the Story Ender's Game, the Formics or "buggers" discovered humanity, the Formics were structured on a Hivemind system, so they believed that other aliens or races were structured onto that same type of hierarchy. But when they found the human race, they thought they weren't sentient enough since they weren't structured onto a hive mind system.
When they first discovered them, they accidentally killed a few humans in the asteroid system, basically believing this wouldn't be a big issue. They though humans were just animals since they didn't have a hive mind system. So that what caused the huge Human-Formic war, the Formics just though Humanity were just animals. They later sent a second invasion fleet to the Sol System, but they finally found out humanity was sentient when they destroyed their queen. And basically were heart broken when they found out they slaughtered millions of innocent lives.
So In Enders game, they wanted to apologize to humanity for the destruction of the wars, but it was too late since Humanity was hell bent on genocidal revenge against them.
Well you could play any RTS game that features humans and be a total dick
Galactic Civilizations. Kinda.
To make a long story short, humanity and its allies are losing and a human fleet in dire straits escapes to a pocket dimension created by big bad evil precursors, and is just now (in Galciv 3) re-emerging when humanity is on the brink of defeat. With superior numbers and technology they casually wipe out an offending alien fleet. The bad thing is that a bunch of aliens from the future say that the humans will go on a big crusade against everyone and probably cause the end of the world.
Oh and the the reason those big bad precursors existed in the first place is because a human went nuts with power and traveled back in time to create them.

enemy mine
it's a movie.

In the late 21st century, an interstellar war between humans (associated as the Bilateral Terran Alliance, or BTA) and Dracs (a reptilian humanoid race) is fought. Battles are periodically fought between fighter spacecraft. During one such battle, human pilot Willis E. Davidge (Dennis Quaid) and Drac pilot Jeriba Shigan (Louis Gossett, Jr.) engage in a dogfight which results in both crash-landing on Fyrine IV, an alien world uninhabited by intelligent life, with two moons, a breathable atmosphere, water and native fauna.
it's not a 10/10 movie but it's got some great elements. i guess since you're looking for scifi movies where humans are the bad guys, enemy mine is perfect for you.
