Turn based strategy games
Chief among which I'd recommend Civ 5, XCOM:Enemy Unknown and Silent Storm

Also any paradox grand strategy games, especially crusader kings 2
LoL or DOTA could be played if he had one of those MMO mice with like 16 buttons.
Maybe LoL on smartcast but even then controlling the map would be pretty difficult to achieve. Dota last-hitting would be hell if you're tapping a button on the side of the mouse if you're s-cancelling, not to mention it's clunky altogether without being able to use the mouse and keyboard at the same time.

Rocks and diamonds is a Boulder Dash clone that comes with tons of ports from other games, and some included custom levels from other players. It also has a good level creator. Minus the mouse that you will need to use the editor, though, the only keys you need to use are the arrow keys, the two control keys, and the enter button. The game is also very hipster friendly. (It is so obscure, I am probably one of a few thousand people who play it.)

[editline]nohands[/editline]
that's a no-handed game
That only applies to the people who play the game right, but there are some assholes who use the bar as a crutch.
I'd think most racing games would work if you have or get a wheel/pedal controller.
Avernum, Geneforge, and Arcanum will be excellent choices. Any of the Infinity Engine games will also be perfectly playable only with one arm functioning.
Dungeons of dredmore
Has a mouse only option, my favorite roguelike
