I can't find a decent image, but the Dwarf Fortress Minecart shotgun concept.

For those who don't know, in DF a mine-cart can be filled with anything from weapons to bunny corpses, then rolled down a slope until it reaches high speed. Block the end of the track with a certain type of obstacle, and the cart will slam into it, throwing its load at lethal speed in the general directing of travel, making a big fucking mess of whatever it hits.. When aimed down a corridor and linked to a pressure plate...oh my. Joy is watching a goblin get all his teeth knocked out by a ballistic bucket.

To those of you who disagree with him, think about it: The Shotgun in TF2 is wielded by nearly half of the classes in the game and it's generally a useful as hell weapon. May not sound particularly powerful but it's reliability is really hard to argue

My personal addition to this list, seeing as the Super Shotgun was already listed.
