Not gonna post a pic, but the Heavy's Minigun is probably my favorite shotgun, in the sense that it doesn't fire one shot per round of ammo fired, but 4. It makes even a pyro's flamethrower look like a watergun in terms of damage.

I loved the shotgun in Mafia 2. (Remington Model 870 Field gun) I just ended up using it in nearly every situation I could. It had great range and damage.

BF3's shotgun. It's not as satisfying to shoot as some other shotguns are, but daaamn that breech load you do when you're out of ammo.

Oh sure, I just hardly use shotguns, and when I do it's in multiplayer. Banshees tend to give very few fucks about anything you throw at them after silver difficulty.

How to piss off a foxhound or a high ranking player in Metal Gear Online (Either the MGS3 or MGS4 version, both are shut down).

Step two - Cause havoc in the lobby with the shotgun, Blasting them off their feet works wonders and killing them outright just adds salt to the wound. Run around like a twat with a shotgun, even showing them that you have a shotgun in your hands instead of a M4 will work when pissing off Foxhounds and meta-gamers.
Step three -Watch them get pissed, scream down the microphone and try to kick you just because you bested them with a completely inferior weapon.
Step four- ????
Step five - Profit!
God i fucking loved the M870. If i had the recording equipment i have now then, i would have recorded the antics i made with using the M870 custom.
The M37, was even meaner since you could animation cancel. (You could in MGO2 until a patch prevented that from happening, gg konami) This thing was loud and proud. I never got the chance to play the original MGO so i never did get the chance to be a bastard with the M37, but there are many videos on youtube showing it.

I think the hunting shotgun has (or had) the largest damage per trigger pull of every weapon. That thing is ridiculous to clean rooms. I remember playing with it on FP's KF server. It was 35 players vs a shitload of specimens, and a bunch of people locked me up with a huge horde coming for me.
I actually survived on my own long enough for people to start saying "wtf, he doesnt dies". That thing just DECIMATED everything.
The M99 is just useless. They didn't nerf its stats, which wouldn't be as bad as what they did. Giving it such a huge price for the ammo is completely bonkers, it makes it not only useless but also impossible to use. Thanks a fucking lot tryhard crybabies.

Well, maybe not the largest damage per shot when compared to LAW or M99, but the penetration sure as hell makes up for it when having large horde on your ass.
When I played Bioshock Infinite, best fucking gun hands down to use the entire time was the shotgun. That shit fucking one shotted everything...
