Fires a different round.
I know that. But it's not like the basic action is really changed much. It's like saying the Colt 1911 is completely different when converted to 9mm.

Also, mug, get on OPChan's IRC.

Taking Future Weapons seriously causes you to lose all credibility.
Fuck either of them, and me my styer AUG,
but if i had to choose, it's be the ak-47, mainly for the fact that it's much much easier to get spare parts for it...

HAHAHAHAHAHA no.
The AR-15 has a VAST market in accessories and parts.
Any gun can with a lucky enough shot. As in, really lucky. As in, so insanely lucky that you'll probably shit yourself dead if it happens.
Enough bullets always substitute for luck. That, and most of those guns would barely penetrate the helicopters plating, much less do any damage to the crew and cargo.
The F88 Austeyr IS the AUG, just a bit modified, man.
The L1A1 IS the FAL, just with no full-auto capability.
But well played.
I meant that I prefer those modifications, I know what a FAL and a AUG are.
HAHAHAHAHAHA no.

I've held and fired a styer AUG, and i've held a AK, i prefer the AUG straight out...
Fuck this! Immah take my trusty SPAS-12

The Steyr AUG sucks, selling mine whenever I get the chance.
Fuck this! Immah take my trusty SPAS-12
Hahaha "trusty".
Where's the neither option?
Where's the neither option?
just don't vote?
M16, mostly because i'm American and we only use sleek badass guns :clint:
An AK47 will never fail you.
You can drag it through mud, snow, and water and it'll fire like you just got it.
Russians know how to make a durable weapon.
Never fired either of them. But from what i heard the M16 is more precise, but the AK47 packs more firepower and is less prone to jamming (plus its durable)
Wouldn't it be more correct to compare something like M 16 and the AK74?
AK47 has a thing with it's ammunition something called "Over-penetration" good or bad it doesn't have stopping power but it will pass through a person and keep going. I voted for the AK47 here.
AK is way more durable, in Vietnam the Viet Cong refused to take dead marine's guns because they were notoriously fragile and easy to jam
M16 for me
AK 47 all the way
M16, more accurate, can heavily modify it, and if you want you can change out the upper receiver to a different one that fires a different round(Fuck yeah 6.5Grendel).
Depends on if you are allowed to add attachments. If not, AK47 then
ak47 is a piece of shit. the recoil is terrible, the 7.62mm cartridge has no real use over the 5.56 mm and you look like a somalian warlord.
I prefer my AR-3's thanks.

Except for the fact that it has been in every major war since it was produced, it is the most widely used and available weapon, and that it has way more stopping power then the M16

:colbert: Isn't that a reason to love the AK?
You're kidding right?
The Robinson XCR is not a modified AK, it's a modified M16.
And any gun that uses a gas piston can do that, the XCR is nothing special.
Not kidding. Look at the bolt. Does not resemble an AR-18 or AR-15 at all. No buffer, it's like the AK. Please don't tell me that the SG556 is another "modified M16"
FYI, you can get about a 3 inch group at 100 yards from an AK, at most. AR-15 style weapons can go as low as .5 inches at 100 yards. The AR-15 op-rod in the piston gas system AR15s are extremely thin and easy to break. Not very durable.

End of.

so what? doesn't make it any better than the m16, it just means it's cheaper.
and stopping power isn't very useful..
AK47 cause in CS:S it has more damage and does more damage.
