• AK 47 or M 16?

This is why I said the XCR >.> AK bolt and gas piston. Although lockup time increases as a result of fewer lugs on the bolt, it is much easier to keep clean, since there are large gaps so you can clean the bolt better. It's also AR-accurate.
AK-47. It has a simpler automatic action compared to the M16. It has a higher caliber round but lacks the accuracy. They're both great rifles but I would prefer the AK-47, it has a great record when it comes to not jamming.
ITT AK 47 never jams you can run it over a tank and it looks cool hurr durr

Extremely simple, it just has a problem with caked-on carbon getting everywhere. Nothing that can't be solved with some carbon solvent, lots of brushes and CLP.

AK anyday. The M-16 is a jammy piece of shit.
I want an AK74. :smug:

This is a very informative video:
M16, because it's durable enough. That and I personally think the AK47 is overrated when it's hard to come by nowadays, even though AK like weapons are easy to get.
I heard there ar emore Ak 47's than russians.....
AK anyday. The M-16 is a jammy piece of shit.
haha yeah thats why we've been using it for 50 years in adverse conditions across the globe, same as many other countries thats also why a large portion of all modern 5.56 assault rifles are based off its action the world has a hardon for jammy pieces of shit apparently

I have to say M16.
The AK's kind of a symbol of resistance and revolution, so i'd have to do with the old-fashioned chic AK-47.

I like AK's better, they look cooler. Also the whole "unbreakable" thing is pretty attractive.

If you know anything about actual guns, you'll know that Ak's are extremley reliable and easy to use while M16's are a mess.

Yeah sure. The M16's a total mess, which is why we've been using it as OUR MAIN BATTLE RIFLE FOR 50 YEARS. And why the Russians TRIED TO COPY THE CARTRIDGE FOR THEIR AK.
Ids say the M-16. Not many survival stories of people shot with those you know. Only thing the AK-47 has over the M-16 is reliability. The sweet 16 has much more range, is more accurate, ammo is lighter, and the shots are just so damn fast, it liquefies human flesh on entry. Liver shots will turn the liver into mush, rupture the stomach, and completely stop all breathing.
Anyhow, I will take a properly built G3 or FAL over the AKM. Hands down. The 7.62 NATO, loaded with Hornady TAP, is a surefire way to have consistent fragmentation in humans, with enough power behind the bullet to be able to go through entire walls.
I got bad news for you buddy. Use those fragmentation rounds on a battle ground, and you get ass-raped by the UN. Geneva conventions just before WWI banned ALL expanding ammunition from war. Just too damn messy.
Samuel L. Jackson approves of ak47 usage.

AK 47, durable as hell, will still work even if it was covered in sand (just shake the sand off a bit). And putting it in water won't damage it.
haha yeah thats why we've been using it for 50 years in adverse conditions across the globe, same as many other countries thats also why a large portion of all modern 5.56 assault rifles are based off its action the world has a hardon for jammy pieces of shit apparently
Hmm, thats interesting, becuase most other countries use variants of the AK, FAL or G3. The AR-15 is the only weapon I know of that uses direct impingment versus a gas piston system. Nowadays, it is obsolete anyway thanks to the many weapons that acheive the same low movemnet of parts and low recoil that were acheived by it. So; my vote goes for the AK, but if I could pick anything, it would be the Sig 551 and series. Also, the fact that the 5.56 cartridge was copied by the Russians says nothing for the M16 considering that they stuck with an AK based weapon.
The AK 47 is very reliable, you can burry it for year in snow and dig it out and it will fire.
I think it comes down to this. If you have to be out in the field for a month with limited ammunition and no chance to clean your gun, the AK will pull through with more reliability and stopping power.
It depends if the M16 includes attachments
