It depends if the M16 includes attachments
Ironsights dont need batteries.
I think it comes down to this. If you have to be out in the field for a month with limited ammunition and no chance to clean your gun, the AK will pull through with more reliability and stopping power.
No perks.
No perks.
wat
Id choose the AK-47 mainly for its reliability, especially if it came to guerrilla warfare.
AK47 of course. m16 looks like plastic toy or something.
I got bad news for you buddy. Use those fragmentation rounds on a battle ground, and you get ass-raped by the UN. Geneva conventions just before WWI banned ALL expanding ammunition from war. Just too damn messy.
No one cares about what the UN says. Broke mah auto-merge.
Why isn't RPG-7 and option?
Why isn't the Saiga 308 an option?
Why isn't the Saiga 308 an option?
Because that would severely limit the poll.

Geneva conventions never referred to BTHP bullets. Also, the US never agreed to it, so they don't have to follow it. :smug: Anyhow, you could argue that the intent with these rounds was to increase accuracy.
Maybe if you're a blithering idiot.
The m16A1 at one point where so bad, that in the Vietnam war, communists guerrillas refused to take them from fallen Americans.
ive personally shot both on several occasions M16 kicks the AK-47s ass its much more accurate, has a higher fire rate, and its easily modable. However the AK does have its advantages, its durrable, cheap, and it looks cool.
7.62mm ammo everyday of the week. U never know when firing through a wall might come in handy. I have fired them both, M16 is more accurate all right...but the sound and the kick from the AK is cooler.
wallhacker :aaa:
I learned that in the military. Awesome in urban combat.
Don't M16s jam frequently? Anyways, AK47.
AK47, such a terrorist weapon.
The m16A1 at one point where so bad, that in the Vietnam war, communists guerrillas refused to take them from fallen Americans.
Maybe it's because lack of ammo. Max Brooks is a faggot.
Really depends for me. Tactical situation m 16 all the way for just a gun and run ak 47.
AK-47: Will jam once in a blue moon. You will hit what you shoot at. Cheap. Cheap and plentiful ammo. It's deadly. M16: Jams. A lot. Is accurate, more accurate than the AK. Expensive as hell. Expensive but plentiful ammo. Is not deadly. It fires a shitty round that cant kill anything. I go with AK.
AK-47: Can not possibly jam. You will hit what you shoot at. Cheap. Cheap and plentiful ammo. It's deadly. M16: Jams. A lot. Is accurate, more accurate than the AK. They will stovepipe and sometimes have bad ammo but they will jam eventually, it is less frequent though than an M16, so yes i will have to go with the Ak, SKS series of weapons. Even though they arent that accurate past 300-400 meters, they do the job.
The m16A1 at one point where so bad, that in the Vietnam war, communists guerrillas refused to take them from fallen Americans.
Hey guess what, the M16 has improved a lot since then, and the main reason it was so rejected back then was because the M16A1 didn't have a chrome lined barrel, and the soldiers were given corrosive ammo, corrosive ammo lines the barrel and chamber with a salt powder that in time rusts the barrel, and when you cycle enough rounds through it without cleaning it, it would build up and get caked on, causing jams. AK-47 because when in Vietnam, they put it in the mud or rice places and nothing happened. I would rely my life with the AK-47. If for a deadly spec ops mission, M16.
Okay faggots I fixed my post. Ak's will jam. Once in your life.
AK47, more reliable, durable and cheaper.
M16. It is better.
Fingers shaped like pistols are much better.
M16 is easier to field strip and clean, it's lighter, it's vastly more accurate, it has better stopping power, and as of this decade is about the most reliable thing out there.
The poll needs the explanation of the situation, in which each weapon would be used.
