I just moved to Guangzhou, China and they have youtube/facebook/lots of random sites blocked. What is a good working proxy for me to access everything in America or maybe just youtube? Not being able to watch youtube videos has been such a bitch. I can find my way around for getting on facebook but youtube has been very hard
VPN is the cure.
Leave China forever. IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!
Say that you are Canadian and not interested in America.
VPN is the cure.
A free one? I have one but it is so slow it's not worth it and we even pay for it

securitales.com Seriously, it actually works. Just clear your cookies every time you're done using it, so you'll have an unlimited "10 minute trial" [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline] I actually used it for 1 month when i was in china.
Guangzhou, China
Why?
Moved here after my dad got a job offering and I decided to come along and am waiting for the school year to start up next year in Hong Kong. Christ, is it that important to you people? Compare an American college degree to a Hong Kong college degree and who is more likely to get the job for the career I am in? (Computer Animation btw)
Oh, one of my friends lived in Shanghai for 3 years because of that same reason...

I'd recommend buying a vps. Stuff will be really slow due to distance though. Normally I would recommend fanaticalvps, but due to the distance you'd get 500ms. Find an asian VPS host and proxy through it using PuTTY (Use it as a socks5 server)
Op why did you move to china? Oh and is it true you can go to jail for looking at certain things on the internet?
