After you've exchanged your interests try to make conversation out of one of the subjects you both have in common. If you don't have anything in common, try to work out who has the most interest in who. If she has more interest in your subjects, talk about one of yours, similarly, if she doesn't show much interest in your subjects, ask her about her favourite subjects. If neither of you can listen to anything that is said, then leave it until another time.

I'm going to meet my friend's girlfriend and some other friend (who is a girl) she's bringing along. I'm just going because my friend wants me to accompany him really. Wish me luck. I might die, this is a dangerous mission. But I am willing to accept it.
