Went to Animate Miami last year! I loved it, that's where my want to cosplay has come from. I've always kind of wanted to but seeing some cool stuff made me really want to.

LA is fun when you realize everyone here is fake in their own special ways. Like if you live here long enough you can see through the fakeness but everyone tries very hard to be someone they are not and its fun to fuck with them.

My school did it by highest GPA gets first choice and go below like that. Since I was like in the top 10 I thought it was nice but everyone else complained heavily.
Two more things about LA before I go:
- We were eating at a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant with good food and I had to go water the plants. When I came back, there was a mariachi band playing at somebody else's table. I think that was the restaurant's birthday deal.
- To get in the holiday spirit at LAX, there were Christmas yard inflatables by some gates, including my favorite: a Hawaiian vacation Santa with hip-swaying action.

My school just makes you pay for a 5$ parking sticker and as long as you have a car you can leave campus. You have to sign out and sign back in though
