Just realized how hard it is for me to really have a conversation with men my age. Like the video game knowledge I have is years out of date and I do not feel comfortable talking about women or stuff like that around them. Talking with girls is infinitely easier because I can at least talk about female-lead bands, or the patriarchy or shit like that. Men are hard.

i'm choosing not to though, considering the serious mental illnesses that run in my family. it's not worth risking bringing a child into this world who has a high chance of developing an illness that will likely make them suffer as much as i do, if not more.
