I think most proxys (proxies?) use a combonation of keywords in the title and content, and are periodically gone through by (x) administrator, who blocks sites who he/she deems "Innappropriate for school".
It was unblocked at my school when they installed the new filter.
I liked the old filter, It was easy to circumvent when I wanted to kill time during lunch, though the new one blocks proxies, VPN and SSH unfortunately. No more multiplayer Minecraft :(

One time back on '06 I got on FP at school and then when it was time to leave there was no logout button so somebody found my account and did something and got me permabanned.
They should block it.

Fucking everybody in my school uses ultrasurf to get on games.
Last year was amazing. We had LAN matches on Halo CE all the time.

My school? They don't know jack shit about blocking websites.
All they did is stick a paper on the monitor saying, 'NO FACEBOOK OR GAMES'.
I don't get on at school because I think the teacher's going to watch what I'm doing.
Hell, the school computer tech uses this place for information, no way they gonna block it.
I can get on a college, but I avoid it cause this site can be pritty NSFW and not even give clues to it.
