I'm really tired of my english class, the teacher hates me and I can't tell if his feedback on my stories is actually helpful or busy work. He also keeps trying to push his politics on the class. When he brought out some books, he separated the books into white authors and 'authors of color'. We're a class focusing on fiction but he brought books about the Black Panthers. We have a free reading time when we can read any book we like (fiction or nonfiction) and so I brought a book by Meir Kahane (a Radical Jewish nationalist) because I was doing a research project on Jewish terrorism. He took my book away because he felt it was inappropriate even though the person next to me was reading lolita.
