to show who's pulling the actual weight in groups rather than build up any form of teamwork with how things are going these days

I hate group projects. They're supposed to simulate what its like working with other people after you graduate(in college at least) but none of the group work I have done even comes close to the kind of work I'm doing for my internship.
I have learned after group projects and generally working together with ppl on dumb online projects that I do not work well with others at all
so I learned to hate group projects

I was in 2 group projects for engineering class and they sucked.
the first one I had to do all the work myself
the second one, my groupmates were best friends and they essentially didn't give me anything to do. When I tried to help, they told me to fuck off and then after that they told the teacher that I wasn't doing anything and I ended up getting a 50% on that project
