saunas 4 sure then make sure to drink finnish beer as much as you can
Find yourself a nice cabin next to a nice lake with a nice sauna beside it. If you're lucky, you might still catch a little bit of some quintessential and quaint Finnish summer by steaming yourself up and hopping into cool water. Maybe a loon will sing for you while you're there. Then head to Helsinki to enjoy local delicacies, such as kebabs and Euroshopper Energy Drink.

Dudesons' Ranch.
Come to Lappeenranta and see a live stock of Russian shoppers and tourists. They are funny to observe.
Dudesons' Ranch.
They (Dudeson's, or one of them) had their own house built here in Helsinki on a reserved spot next to a multiple story building, sort of like all custom-made to stand out from the view. I walked past it almost every day while it was under construction. Now it's ready. And it's certainly not a ranch in the countryside.
I am going to Finland for a week in September, and noticed that there are many users from there on Facepunch. So, I'd like to know - which places to visit? Where to stay, what should I avoid, stuff like that.
Sweden.
Finland kinda is one of those countries with nothing particularly interesting in them, like Estland and Belgium.
^ Except I still believe the city is very neat, and can be seen through and through in a matter of a week, making it a fine city-trip for OP or whoever, albeit a bit expensive unless you are good with money management.
Try out one of their saunas. Finland also has a lot of pizza places. And yet, I've never been to Finland. I've only read things up on Wikipedia.
Kebab, pizzaplaces and barbershops are plenty here. There are like 4 kebab/pizza-places and 6 barbershops here and you can see them all by walking for 5-10 minutes. And this is a small town (Pirkkala if you want to find out more). I think they're opening a couple of new barbershops here again. Though that won't matter for me, because I'm a bald fuck.
Only if I could hang out with somebody of age, despite me going alone I'm not yet legally adult.
Well, then there is absolutely nothing here then. Jesus, the place I live in has pretty much 0 services at all, but still has like 3 barbershops. Be a relative and get free perks such as: Free haircut And oh yeah, all the pizza places are run by turkish guys.

Wait, there actually is something in finland. Lots of statues that are taking a piss. Yes, finnish statuetists just seem to love making statues that piss.
btw it's good that you're coming while it's still summer, Finland tends to have 9 months of getting shit thrown in your face in various forms and 3 months of infernal heat
Gives me a good excuse to post this apt image:
Tits and country side
Tits and country side
mmm, saggy finnish tits and boring flat forest.
hobos everywhere
Helsinki is Proxy-Somalia, and the north is nothing but desolate woodland with the occasional white dude.
Transvestite wrestling
Turku or Tampere
Besides all the joking and depressed statements, Helsinki's core central can have some decent late night life. The bars and clubs aren't all that bad (at least from my very limited experience) and if you want to get shitfaced you'd be in the right place. If you're planning on a very fast-paced exploration trip though I would say that Helsinki is gonna be a bit boring-ish. Visit Stockmann, Kamppi and maybe Sello if you feel like those two don't sate your shopping needs. Stockmann seems to attract a ton of tourists :v:
