Its okay but the Gmod section is awful. Too condensed, too few sections, and I think that's had a significant impact on the game itself. Re-expanding them would be a good idea I think.

it's not like its any better anywhere else, the Internet as a whole is mostly on the same lowish level and other than that has some particularly awful places
Honestly speaking, posting on Facepunch has probably shaped me into a better person than I would have been otherwise. Coming here and discussing stuff with different people and getting an insight into different people's opinions, views and experiences has been a very enriching experience. I joined Facepunch as a retarded teenager and now I'm a significantly less mentally handicapped adult. I have learnt a lot from my time here and I honestly cannot fathom what kind of person I would be today without having been a user here. So thank you Facepunch for the positive impact you've had on my life.

I know I don't really post a lot, but I do spend a lot of time lurking. This forum is far from perfect, but that's not really a problem for me. A lot of the people seem pretty cool here, and I've enjoyed reading through a lot of the stuff here, and have been brought plenty of laughs. As long as this place continues to keep me entertained, I'm willing to look past any of it's flaws
I miss titles. How else am I supposed to make fun of someone and leave a legacy of it?

A lot to hate on, but probably my most frequented site. Mods take absolutely zero shit, and are pretty neutral as far as most sites go.
Compare that to Reddit. A bit unfair given the number of custom subreddits, but subreddit mods will ban you on personal vendetta or opinion. Places like /r/offmychest, a place where you're supposed to be able to rant judgement-free, has bots that will automatically ban you depending on what other subreddits you're subscribed to.
In short, I've been here for over 11 years. I love to hate all of you.
I love Facepunch and the community. I think the website should have a little modern update though.
This is the only place that harbors serious debate, confessions of masturbating with a lasagna, and bannable cat pictures in the whole internet, whats not to like?
Facepunch was what I stumbled upon as a youngin back in the old Gmod days, and it is also where I learned proper internet etiquette.
Thus, here I stay.
Funny because this forum is better for other things than what it's "intended" for (Gmod)
I like Facepunch because I was a retarded little kid back when I lurked exclusively, and it helped me out act like a human being than a retarded goblin that I would've became if I stuck with other forums. Even when I try out new forums I always still come to FP.
That said mods are Nazis and there's always those big prolific users who are only known for their shitposting and trash opinions.
