But like I said before, it's amazing how much trust a bunch of complete strangers have with each other.
Maybe because trust is not directly proportional to time spent with others. Maybe because even though face punch has thousands of members, its still infinitesimal compared to the 7 billion out there. Of those 7 billion only a few have internet which already guarantees a division in the way they think compared to those without internet, and ignoring that people generally show their true selves on the internet because they don't have to face the shame in person, this ensures that general assholes get permabanned and we trust in that system, because it is our system. People join gangs, others join sports teams, some become religious nuts and yet others find some other way of representing themselves in a group. But us, we are Facepunch, and as much as we rage on those neanderthals in their gangs, or those dogmatic churchmen we have unknowingly in our sanctimonious unity also created our own assemblage.
