Yep. thats true. But if every soldier in the world would go on strike, there would be no war :v:
Too many hate filled people for that to happen though, sadly. It would be far better if we could all just work together or at least try to get along. We wouldn't have to waste so much resources in keeping an army up to date...
If OP really cared about peoples answers. He wouldn't have had the "No I'm a fag" option. He is just here to brag

Well I'm getting drafted into the military, so yeah I guess I am.
I don't want to kill people. So, I'm now a faggot. Way to go OP.
What cause? Giving your goverment more money? You die = you didnt win shit.
How does dying for your country give your government more money? Last time I checked, it was expensive paying for troops and I don't think the United States earns a lot of money from being at war with terrorists.
Fuck that shit I'm not cuttin' my hair.

And now they have made extra allies and implanted operatives in the governments of those countries. They can basically control them if they want to.
I'm pursuing a career, thanks anyway.
This is what I'm going to be doing in the Navy
Prob joining the USAF Vision might hold me back tho because I wear contacts
I would probably if a conflict involves my country directly. But i won't join up just to be in the army.
I'd love shooting a gun down a range, but I'm pretty sure I'm not able to take another man's life. This does not, however, make me a fag.
Thread is an 'Are you an idiot?' thread in disguise.
Security Forces = cops. Sometimes they get some really lame hours and assignments (gate guard, ID checkers, etc.) You'll certainly get that gun-shooting thing going if that's what you're looking for, but overall not a "coosh" job. The video where the car was being blown up... Probably taken from a UAS, and you have to be a pilot to fly those. Hope you have a degree in aviation, are in ROTC, or already have a solid plan laid out to get there. To the Navy video... http://articles.latimes.com/2010/oct/12/local/la-mew-dont-ask-20101012 I guess that means if that's your style, go for it. Oh, and you can be in the USAF while still having contacts. I know plenty of people that wear them (in a career field which requires you to have vision correctable to perfection, no less).
Military is in my family's blood. My grandfather was in the military. His dad was in the military. And his dad was, and so on. My dad skipped out so now I got to make up for it. So yes. I am
I've had thoughts about joining. Only because it seemed that I didn't have much to do with my life. I made a choice to do something, so this will be a back-up option if my career's I have in mind fail on me.
No I'm not. The military wouldn't even let me in because of my mental health issues. I have no desire to join anyway.

There is a 2 man team that is incorporated into the system. The pilot and the sensor operator. The sensor operator guides the missiles and controls the camera. I will become a sensor operator its already guranteed. Do you even think that somebody who says "this is what i will be doing" would already have the path planned out to become on of these? Its called going through basic then tech school.
Officer in Canadian Forces as pilot (Likely C-130 or C-17, with fighter numbers being cut there's no hope in hell at flying a fighter)
Already been. USN, gunnery officer on the destroyer USS Oldendorff. I regret none of it; the military can give you in a few weeks what a civilian would never get in 10 years of their life.
No because of three reasons: 1. Bi 2. Wimpy rules of engagement that are getting our soldiers killed. And when I say OUR soldiers, I mean any country that got duped into fighting the, "war on terror" 3. War is almost never justifiable.
I might join the air force as a backup in case I can't get any other job. but then again I'm planning ahead.like 5 years or so.
1. Bi
cool me too :buddy:
Been there, done that for 5 years.
