No, I'm a winner.
op is stupid
I'm going to the military, didn't really have any reason not to go. It works as a some sort of fitness school too you know [editline]24th October 2010[/editline] Wow, over half of the voters are not going. I wonder why
I am much too intelligent to spend my time in the military, and I am not all that intelligent. You do not have to "go to war" while in the military, does no one else realize this? Sure some people just do not want to join the service because its not for them and thats fine. But if your not joining because your afraid of dieing in battle, then your an ignorant fool. But do not get me wrong, if you join infantry or something like that then you will see combat but its either kill or be killed, people.
I would only join the military if I had no options left

(Also me being in the military and getting in trouble wouldn't be doing much to honor my grandfather's memory. He was in the Air Force for 26 years.) But as I said in my last post, if a war came to the US right now, I wouldn't hesitate to join and fight to protect my country.
No, not unless my country is under direct attack and the cause of freedom is on the line.
I'd join the armed forces in a heartbeat given that there was a direct threat, apart from that no.
Nope. I wouldn't join; if conscripted I'd sooner go to prison for cowardice, if that was the case. Unless there was a way to fulfil some sort of medical role, but I doubt they'd send you there if you were conscripted. I'd still feel like I was supporting the war, though, which is what bothers me the most.
After I graduate from High School, I plan to either go to a military academy, or take ROTC in college. Graduate as an Officer.
Maybe. If I did I would join the Swedish Air Force. I can pass all but one of the tests for becoming a fighter pilot which is something I'd like to be (if I would join the army).
Would be awesome to join in Russian Special Forces like this:
In Finland we pretty much have to, so yeah.
maybe i'd join as a last resort, but i'd much rather go to college, get a good education, and get a good job
maybe i'd join as a last resort, but i'd much rather go to college, get a good education, and get a good job
Actually, being in the military is a pretty decent career. My grandfather was in the Air Force for 26 years and even after retiring was getting enough money to pay a $1,200 per month mortgage.
I love to blow things up, I love travalling, I love having simple easy to follow instructions and everything in one (healthcare omg). Soooooo Canadian Army FTW
Yes. I'm going to try to go in for Air Borne Ranger Fire support specialist. I qualified and the job is open.
All lies. The only military i WOULD join is to defend my country.
I'm in the Air Force National Guard. They pay for my college. Going to basic in January.
I am! I can't wait to get my M4 with an ACOG and Dual Rangers as my sidearm!!1 xDxDxD
this aint COD
this aint COD
Yes it is.
No, I'm a winner.
The Norwegian military is only good in cold areas. Coming from my half-assed opinions.
I'm joining the Army because I want to experience it. I have no interest in going down to Afghanistan or whatever (although the pay is very good).
I would like to join the navy for communications if I was to be drafted other than that, I'd never join the military
My two main reasons 1. I am a pacifist 2. I like living
I have no plans to join and I stopped my boyfriend from doing so.
In the Norwegian military we can choose between various free and optional educational programs, some obligatory and if you choose to take the final exam you get 15 extra credits for further education.
Wait what the hell? 15 points? With that I could easily study medicine if I wanted to (I don't want to). Are you entirely sure about this? [editline]24th January 2012[/editline] Hello 2010
Was in for a couple of months after being conscripted, but had to leave due to health issues (heart to be specific).
