Nice to see some other Dune fans on Facepunch
I don't know how well known it is, but The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon is my favourite book. It's about an autistic boy who tries to solve the mystery of who killed his a dog with a garden fork. Every second chapter doesn't relate much to the story, but is just the character explaining different things. Read the first few pages of it here.

Finished the original "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" that was a good read.
I can recommend Metro 2033 and Metro 2034 as well as the whole "Guardians of the Night" books if you're into fantasy.
Old scientific-utopic stuff from former Soviet states is awesome too. Everyone should have read a book of Stanislaw Lem.
I'm currently reading an out of place book f him.
The book consists of reviews of ficional books. Yes. He "reviews" books that never existed.
Ah fuck, I read a lot so I can't grab the WHOLE list.
Call Of The Wild
The Hobbit
McCartney
I Am Ozzy
The Trojan War
Peak
And the list goes on and on. But my overall favorite book has to be John Lennon: The Life.

Don't give him boxes. Hitler was actually a very well-educated smart man, and his book is very interesting. It's actually a shame that he hated the Jews so damn much.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho is very good in my opinion.
It's a short novel (around 160 pages) about a shepherd who leaves his life as a sheep-herder and travels toward his dreams of a treasure in Egypt.

Simply an amazing read.
Flipped has always had a special place in my heart and on my bookshelf. I've read it countless times and I absolutely love the concept of having two different perspectives on the same situation (Much like Will Grayson, Will Grayson).

Love reading books, fantasy is my favourite genre. I'm reading Time of Wheel atm. Although, I'm waiting for the 6th book I think it is, so atm I'm reading some HP. Lovecraft :)
Ender's game and the entire Ender series. The meaning and the messages behind the books are so good. Not only that, but they're incredibly well written.
Just got back from the local Half Price Books.
They had like 7 different Dune books but not the original. I raged.
I did get Ender's Shadow and Speaker For The Dead. Books 1 and 2 for LOTR. And Angels & Demons.
EDIT: Awesome, Rubs.
Oh, and The Outsiders and the loose sequel to it, I loved those books.

It's literally just a bunch of rambling.
"The forest of the hanged Foxes" and others by Arto Paasilinna.
"The God delusion" by Richard Dawkins.
"A briefer history of time" by Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow.
Shadow over Innsmouth by H.P. Lovecraft. Fuck yeah.
Finished reading this

This is taken from some of the recorded attacks section of the Zombie survival guide, with great art by Ibraim Roberson.

The Perks of Being A Wallflower is the best book I've ever read.
Helter Skelter is good. It's about the Manson family and the murders in 1969.
The Origin of Species is also a good book. If you like science and biology, though.
Malazan book of the fallen - On the 6th now
Sword of truth - read all of them
Wheel of times - read all of them
The song of ice and fire - Read all till 5th
The dwarves - read all of them
and a few more miscellaneous fantasy books.

The Dark Tower series by Stephen King is really good.
I am finishing up the seventh and last one now.
Anything by Stephen King is pretty good, I haven't read a bad one yet.
I just read Freakonomics, you might have heard of it. Im also reading a book by Jared Diamond, Collapse, which talks about the collapse of many ancient civilizations, such as the people who lived in the Easter Islands.

House of Leaves is a book about a documentary that doesn't exist, about a house that doesn't exist. I'd say more but I'm afraid I might spoil a bit of it.
It's a crazy trip of a book, definitely worth a read.
(And it has a companion novel, The Whalestoe Letters.)

Pretty much, Boneshaker is a Steampunk/Zombie/Historical Fiction mash-up. I haven't actually read this one, but I've been meaning to get around to it. IT'S GOTTEN GOOD REVIEWS YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY GO BUY IT.

And last but not least, I just finished this book so I'll stick it here. I wanted to watch the Sci-Fi miniseries, or maybe the Miyazaki film, but apparently LeGuin hated them both. :saddowns:
Currently reading Metro 2033.
I don't have on single favorite. 1984 by Orwell, House of Leaves, World War Z, and Sphere are all brilliant in my mind, in different ways.
