I heard the movie sucked though... I love Dune so much, though I first tried to read it in like 6th grade. Total mind-fuck. Started reading them again last year, :iia: The stuff done by Frank Herbert's son, Brian is kinda painful. They're all about the awesome crazy shit that Frank never covered, like the Butlerran Jihad, but the writing just isn't up to par. :frown:

The Bleak House by Charles Dickens, And A scanner darkley by Phillip k Dick , Either that or Bladerunner. Maybe read some Christopher Pike if you're into murder mystery.

No idea what my favorite ever is but I've probably read American Psycho the most. I'm currently reading Flight of the Eisenstein by James Swallow.
