Dogs.
Cats are cool too but a dog will always be here for you. No wonder why they're called man's best friend.
Dogs have both the good qualities of a person AND an animal, so dogs for sure.
Dogs in my opinion tend to have more personality in the way they look and act, whereas most cats look the same, and they're just cooler to have around
A good, well trained dog is better than any cat. A untrained, bad tempered dog left to its own devices is worse than any cat. IMO, Dogs are better for people who want to invest time into their pet. Cats are for everyone else.

I have two cats, but i really love dogs,especially after reading "Call of the Wild" unfortunately dogs (at least the kind i want) affect my allergies poorly.
Love both equally.
I just love cats more equally.

I think Dogs are a bit better in the sense that they're more approachable, friendly, and generally more social. Cats, while cute, can seem very likely to be uninterested in being social, while Dogs usually spring at the opportunity to get attention.
Dogs also seem more useful. They hunt, sniff, and make good companions when traveling outside. Cats are still good for exterminating rodents, but I think dogs have a wider range. So I'm going with Dogs.

Came back from College after a few month and my dog didn't stop cuddling with me for a hour.
My cat didn't give a shit.
Most of those kittens posted look extremely annoying and pathetic.
I don't know why though. I do like the way how, say a strong wild Leopard looks like.
Dogs are more funny though. Beats home cats.
My cat is brain damaged after getting hit by a car so now he shows all his affection to random pieces of furniture :v:
