Depends on how much I drink and have I eaten anything.
Usually like 10-15 beers.
Takes quite a lot for me to.
5 beers barely does anything.
Thats probably because I'm Russian :v:
Same, suprised my sister with how much drink I could take on Halloween.
Then again, I am Scottish :v:
Usually after 4 pints I'm feeling a bit jiggly in my head.
I drink like a half to a litre of vodka and im p drunk.
first time i drank like 2-3 beers, 3 litres of gin, some vodka and some rum.
There's a biological reason for this. Can't be bothered to explain it.
It has something to do with the carbonation in your beer and the way it makes the alchohol absorb into your body. It almost pushes it into you.
As for me:
3 - gets me feeling alright
6 - tipsy
10 - Drunk
12/14 -Blasted
15+ - Throwup and pass out
17+ -Black out and a killer hangover
Although I have drank the equivalent of over 40 beers stretched out over the day [11 am - 1am].
I inherited my dad's bad liver, I can't drink
depends on what I've eaten but usually around 7 glasses of bourbon before I start getting hammered
Agree, I'm a big person, and I can drink allot and not even feel the slightest thing. It's handy in drinking contest but it also costs lots of money.
I can drink like 10 beer, a bottle of smirnoff ice and a bottle of jagermeister and still not be drunk (Im 1.89 m tall)
Altogether that's 1.5 gallons of alcohol.
:geno:
I don't drink often, but when I do the Scottish part of my blood lets me drink all I want and not feel too much of it.
I also have a +10 against hangovers.
Wild Turkey Bourbon Whiskey:

I drank a whole bottle. I had 3 shots of the stuff. Then some with coke-a-cola. Then the rest out of the bottle. It took a while to even feel the effects. (Whiskey sneaks up on you) I just got up to go take a piss, as I was walking, the alcohol finally takes effect. Was up most of the night watching youtube videos and nothing happened. Went to bed.
And no hangover when I woke up. What the hell? I must be very tolerant or something.
Wild Turkey: 101 proof alcohol, which means 50.5 percent alcohol. It takes a little over half the damn bottle to get me DRUNK. Now how much do I have to take to get fucked up?
it takes:
10 beers
OR
2 litres of wine
OR
1/2 a bottle of 40% spirit
to get me where I am going
I'm Australian, my liver is limitless, but seriously I love RUM, I'm a fuckin RUM PIG, if I was Indian you'd call me Rum Dog Millionaire... anyway... A 700ml bottle of Rum (mixed with cokes) and I can still function properly but give me 12 beers and I'll be falling all over everywhere.
Pic from my old house - I told you I love Rum.

There's nothing more pathetic than people who keep their old alcohol bottles to brag.
There's nothing more pathetic than people who keep their old alcohol bottles to brag.
If I really wanted to 'brag' I would of at least posted how many were there and how many were out of picture, I only posted it as proof that I really do infact love rum.
My former housemate and I kept them because we planned to have them melted down and then remade into one giant bottle. We also made a TF2 Engineer's Dispenser out of empty Rum cans the year before.
We never ended up getting it melted down and we've both moved since then throwing them all out.
Gave you a heart anyway!
How the fuck are you not dead, I'm pretty sure that would kill you, a bottle of jager, and a bottle of smirnoff and 10 beers, you would be in the hospital bro
Come to Iceland and we'll prove you wrong...
And 3 sips of kamikaze is harmless.
I thought she was being ridiculous.
Now to wait 2 years so I can feel good about drinking.
somewhere about 10 units gets me merry

ahahah
i'm tall so i can drink all this alcohol without getting drunk!!
yeah nah
I'm scrawny as fuck but I can handle alcohol better than anyone I know. I've noticed harder alcohol like whisky I start to feel a buzz coming before I get tipsy, but beer sneaks up on me. The only time I can tell I'm drunk when I'm drinking beer is when I go to walk.
I've had a hangover once. Learned my lesson.
Today, it was my mum's bday. I was allowed a drink of beer. Then suddenly, this thing came up. I told my mum that I had drank 3 gulps of kamikaze during a camp and that I felt like normal(which is true). She was surprised, and she told me most people would be stumbling at that amount.
So facepunch, how much kamikaze does it take for a person to get drunk, plus, how much alcohol can you guys tolerate.
How the hell did you drink a Japanese suicide pilot?
A small percentage of people don't get hangovers. No one knows why.
Wow, did not know that. Kind of cool, I'm spared from the horrors of a hangover. Wait, would I still get one if I managed to get wasted? Not that I'll ever drink that much to do so, but I'm just wondering.
Also, I still manage to retain a clear mind when drunk. All it seems to affect is motor skills and visual stuff. (IE: struggling to not fall over and seeing stuff slowed down.) But I can figure out things, I still know right from wrong, etc. For example: I would still know to call for a friend if I were to go out drinking.
Makes me wonder if people just use "I was drunk" as an excuse for something they wanted to do all along. Or if they really just can't handle it.
I usually drink around 10 beers/ciders and 1 or 2 shots, never passed out or lost my memory that way.
I have a hell of a hangover right now. I've puked twice and I just feel like laying in bed
5-7 beers to get slightly unstable, the "everything is funnier" phase. At 10-11 beers I'd be getting pretty drunk and at 15 and more I'm very drunk as in very unstable and laughing somewhat uncontrollably. Assuming I'm drinking at a normal to fast pace. It varies, sometimes I can drink all I want without getting to the phase where things might go bad, sometimes I get drunk much faster.
[editline]6th December 2010[/editline]
Puked a few times, but never had a hangover the day after. I drink about every week, but I'm certainly not drunk every week. Never had severe memory loss. Then again, unless you have huge gaps in your memory I don't think you can know you don't remember something unless people tell you. But still, no major memory loss.
I'm fairly heavyweight, the first time I ever drank I had 2 shots of vodka, 2 shots of jaeger, 1 shot of almuretto(? I can't remember how it was spelled, but it was fucking delicious.) and 2 cans of cider, all I felt was a bit dizzy.

Oh god that tastes so fucking awesome, liquid gold.
We have 33 cl bottles here, so i'll measure by them.
bottle's consumed - state
one bottle - Slightly more talkative, continues to 7 bottles.
eight bottles - drunk, slight errors in muscle co-ordination.
twelve bottles - stumbling, trouble focusing on a specific target.
twenty bottles - barely conscious
twenty six bottles - blackout and current record
Funnily enough, i rarely get violent when drunk, i just talk a bit more. Although when the effects start dissipating, i start going quieter and angrier. Lemme see, if one bottle is 33 cl and my record is 26 bottles...that's around 8 liters and 6 deciliters of beer. Although it took like, twelve hours to get them all down approximately.
But seriously if i remember anything is that after twenty bottles i really couldn't stand. My balance was gone completely and i was more or less defenseless. I just wanted to see how many i could take.
