Once upon a time I woke up in the night because I had to shit. I sat on the bowl and pushed so hard, I farted, but the fart did not sound like a fart, it sounded like a spooky skeleton demon. Then finally it came out of my ass, and the water splashed right up on my butt! Fuck I had forgotten to put toilet paper in the bowl to make sure the water wouldnt splash my butthole! Then I looked down.. There was no poop, no skidmarks, no stains, not even waves in the water. It was a ghost crap. So then I washed my hands and I looked into the mirror and saw right out of the door in the reflection that there was someone sitting on my computer. It is actually you that wrote this but you just woke up and have false memory and you forgot you wrote this! So you went to bed but you heard something rattling so you took a glance at what was making that rattling sound beneath your bed but you only saw two glowing eyes AND THEN A SKELETON POPPED OUT
This is actually my father's story. Him and a couple of buddies were cruising at night some 30 years ago down a dark road. There weren't any houses around, so it was just woods. About 80 or so feet in the distance, he saw a man run from the woods across the road, and then duck into a bush. My father described him as middle aged, wearing a trench coat, and having a slight bioluminescent-type glow. One of his buddies in the back seat exclaimed "Woah, did you see that," so clearly my father wasn't the only one to see it. As they drove past the bush, there was nothing there. To this day, my father doesn't have any answers, but I know he isn't bullshitting me, because he told me this once when I was very young, and retained the exact same story when I brought it up recently for the first time since. Plus, it doesn't seem like the kind of thing he'd bullshit. He doesn't know if he believes in the supernatural or anything, but that's one experience that he doesn't know what to think about. As for me, I haven't really experienced anything totally out of the ordinary. I've been faked out a couple of times, like for my senior year trip, my class went to Georges Island, which is an old, supposedly haunted military fort off of Boston Harbor, but I'm pretty sure all the ghost stories about the place are just myths. There are some areas in the fort that are totally pitch black. One corridor has an entrance to a huge open room, which is totally dark, save for a little bit of light coming through a hole in the ceiling. It's probably by far one of the most unsettling rooms there, just because it's a huge, empty, pitch black room. I was with a friend, and we heard one of those old, patriotic American songs being played in the room, which genuinely freaked us out because it's not like there are any speakers in there or anything. To add to that, all the other members of our class were playing ball in the center field, so we knew it wasn't any of them. I decided to take a peak in, and saw a glimpse of light, but my glance was so brief that I didn't make anything out. We bailed to grab a couple of friends who were elsewhere, and upon return, saw a staff member leaving the same corridor, who then asked us if we were having fun. They were pretty smug about it. :v:
I used to hear this bizarre noise, somewhat like an air raid siren but off. I made a sort of mockup of how it sounded, not perfect (it had a bit more of a hollow echo to it, I think) if anyone's curious to hear it. Here's the link. My mother thought it might be something related to logging, since apparently loggers use siren codes to signal certain things.
I once heard cheerful whistling going down the hallway outside my room at night a long time ago. I wouldn't say it was terrifying but it certainly spooked me since it couldn't have been anyone else in the house. Mostly because there was no feel or sound of movement accompanying it.
I keep waking up to small shards of what looks like broken glass in my bed. I can never explain it. Changed sheets, so it's not on the sheets. Take off clothes so I'm not carrying it into bed from anywhere. Nothing above or near the bed it could be coming from. But it continues to happen??
There's a place in Pennsylvania named Pond Bank. A ghostly figure called the White Lady supposedly resides there now. The story goes like this:
A young mother drowned herself and her child here in the early 1900s according to legend. It's said that you can see her glowing white form roaming the area to this day searching for her child. One story claims that in 2002, she stepped in front of a car, causing an accident. The cops that came to investigate didn't buy the explanation, except for one. He said the same thing happened to him in 1993.
The highschool my friends and I went to is about 20-30 minutes away from Pond Bank. Naturally, we heard all kinds of stuff about it, the most popular being she would leave hand prints on your car if you went there, and she'd show up if you chanted "white lady, white lady, I killed your baby". We were curious so we decided to check it out. We went there, said the chant, and to this day my friend swears the White Lady pulled his hat up off of his head. We didn't find any hands prints on the car, but it was interesting experience.
I woke up not being able to move before.
I woke up not being able to move before.
Its called sleep paralysis, the shit you hallucinate is normal if that happens since the brain likes to make its own images when its disconnected from senses.
- Went to bed, was really tired, heard my mom calling my name. Tried to ignore her, and I heard my sister calling my name too. After a while I felt someone sitting on the bed, and considering I live alone that scared the shit outta me. It was nothing, and I tried to get back to sleep, but I still heard my mom calling my name for a while. - One time I jumped down a bed and for a split second I saw a dog's chewing bone right beneath my feet, and expected to land on it and feel horrible pain. When I landed, I noticed there was nothing on the floor. - Not really paranormal, but I've had several dreams where a ghost rapes me.
So, my bedroom is comprised of my bed, my dresser, and my desktop setup (monitors, desk etc) and a fan, which I need to be on to sleep at night. One night while I was sleeping, I was woken up to the sound of someone continuously clapping, as if standing right next to my bed and clapping into my ear. I woke up and looked around and saw nothing. After a quick moment, I realized that the fan air wasn't reaching me, but was still on. I was confused until I heard loud footsteps walking out of the room, down the hallway, and out the front door with a slam. Front door was locked and already closed when I checked in the morning. I'm pretty positive that it was just my half-awake mind stirring up, as later that week I figure out that my computer sometimes makes snapping noises when it opens and closes vents on the top (for cooling). Still creeps me out.
When I was in high school my family took a vacation to Tennessee. We rented a house from some Christian organization up in the middle of nowhere. The house itself was rather nice. The basement was a different story. It had a game room in it and a few bedrooms. It was unfinished so the floors were straight concrete. One night while we were headed up the stairs my brother turned around to flip the lights off. As soon as they went out he saw some small black thing about the size of a cat, but with spider like features, dash out of one wall and into another. The creepiest part was that it had no color. It was a shadow. My littlest cousin who was around four at the time refused to be in the basement. I remember feeling like I was being watched the whole time I was down there. Needless to say It was not a very fun vacation.
I wrote this on 8chan's /k/ so please forgive the Green Text arrows
I wrote the one post about seeing creepy shit in the woods in New York, and I figure should write some other ones. > Grew up experiencing weird shit since childhood. It always has ranged from small time hallucinations to full-blown experiences which leave me numb or clueless. > One of the most, "I know something is wrong" experiences I have had was when I was three years old > My first memory in life starts at this time, before this… I have absolutely no recollection of anything. > This memory starts with me in an adult body, bleeding out from what appears to be gunshot wounds. > I'm sitting their telling someone near me to stop crying, and calm down, and that the guy who's driving the car needs to put me in a bathtub full of water, slit my wrist, and put a gun near my body with empty brass nearby. > The guy who is already crying is trying to convince the driver not to do it, and just take me to a hospital > Driver basically states something along the lines of: "He's already dead, and we cannot let anyone find out what happened!" > We drive up to this old-school Victorian House. Absolutely gorgeous building, which was painted a yellow with orange tint. > I'm slowly fading in and out, and I'm dragged up to door, and all I remember saying is, "God please be with me" before blacking out > I later come to grips, waking up in a bathtub as my three year old self. > I still have no recollection of anything before this point. After this I have had a plethora of experiences relating to near death experiences, as well as seeing tons of hallucinations. I have been diagnosed now with schizotypal degrading into schizophrenia, but it wasn't always like this until recently, thanks to bad diagnosis and medication like wellbutrin fucking my system.
I have posted this story before, and I still have no answers for what exactly happened.
I remember when I wanted to sleep on the couch for shits and giggles, I got terrified when the shadows formed some kinda demon shape on the wall and I ran for my bed :v: Looking back at it, there was nothing that could've logically made such a shape, but then again I was a kid and it was probably my mind. Also, just curious, how far away was the person you saw? Would have to be pretty close for it have been a reflection like people say.
Sorry for the late response, I'd say a good couple meters.
Back when I was a kid, maybe 6 or 7, I'd been sleeping on the couch. I woke up around 3AM I think, if not some ungodly hour, and went to the toilet and to grab my pillow to bring back to the couch. After I got done in the toilet, I went to grab the toilet and I took a quick look at the large window I have on my wall. Most people I've told this have just said it's my reflection, but I swear that I saw someone wearing a white dress. I moved my arms and everything and all they did was stand their slightly hunched over.
Jesus fucking christ how did I miss this typo.
I don't know if related, but this is quite strange and clearly paranormal. I'm talking about stuff disappearing without any obvious reason, or, more specifically, about money vanishing from my bank account. One minute it's perfectly here, and then it's gone. I just don't know how to handle this. It's really spooky, i mean, where do they go to?
I know most of these situations could possibly be hallucinations or just your mind fucking with you, but considering some of the shit I've seen while being regulary awake and conscious, I could possibly believe something is out there...
I once had sleep paralysis and I hallucinated ponies slowly passing by my field of view in a deep vignette. help
I was about to go to sleep until I heard a faint voice in my room asking for me, "Daniel?" I responded back with trepidation "Yes?", but the voice only repeated my name and didn't ask out again. At that point I didn't want to sleep again, but it was late at night so I didn't really have a choice.
I was like 12 or 13 years old and I wanted to try the telescope I've been gifted for my birthday. I was setting it up when I saw a glowy orange dot in the night sky. I pointed the telescope on it to get a clear view of what it was but I saw nothing in the google. When I looked back at the dot, it had disappeard. I still don't know what it could have been.

It probably disappeared because all of it burned up.
When I was 15 and around 2 AM during the summer, I had a real scary experience. I was downstairs and filling up a glass of water. In our kitchen, we have a door that leads to our bathroom and at this time it was closed shut. Nobody besides me was home at this time. My dad was somewhere in Stockholm on a union meeting and my mom lives elsewhere. so I can't explain how it happend. So after I filled up my glass of water I went upstairs to my room to watch a movie before I went to bed. I still remember what movie I watched, Taken which I found decent. Anyway after I finished the movie I had to go downstairs to our bathroom on the first floor to take my asthmatic medicine and brush me teeth. As I go downstairs and approach the kitchen I see the door handle get pushed and the door open. This made me scared shitless but I still proceeded into the bathroom and the door closed behind me like nothing. After it everything went back to "normal" so to say. Needless I was very paranoid afterwards and could barely sleep but now after the experience I feel almost lucky. I was always skeptic to paranormal activities until that night in my life, and it would not surprise me if something like this actually exists. In a form we cannot yet explain with our current knowledge.
First some backstory. Both parents have had paranormal experiences. My dad recalls seeing the devil at like age 4 and describing it vividly to his parents who were totally freaked the fuck out. It wasn't the usual "oh he's read with a spiky tail and carrying a trident" it was "he's blonde, muscley, beautiful" - basically described him as the most perfect specimen of a man. Another time he saw a whole floor turn into snakes - I'm sure there was more story to this but I can't remember. There was this one other time where he claims to have witnessed someone basically in two places at once (at least I think it was that, it was something really weird like that) and the girl he saw do it, looked just as shocked as he did, then instantly broke down and went batshit crazy. My mum has one weird one. When she was little, she was a typcial weird kid and had an "imaginary friend" who she called Jimeny. Then one day, when her gran was going through old photos my mum, aged like 5 or something pointed at a man in a family portrait and said "That's my Jimeny" (my is a very English way of referring to someone as being in your family) Said family member was her (great?) Uncle who had committed suicide just before she was born and his name was Jimmy. Both my parents once did a ouija board with college friends and all hell broke loose, paintings falling off walls in unison, cross turning upside down on a wall, that kinda shit. Which is what I think the cause of the next 2 things could possibly have been. When I was a baby, my parents had this wind up aquarium toy that played the usual tinkely lullaby crap attached to the side of my crib. It would regularly just start going in the middle of the night, keep in mind it's a wind up toy. It only stopped when my dad (being a religious man) performed and exorcism. However when we moved to a new place some years later another weird thing happened that I remember vividly. I had this RC Car that looked like the character RC from Toy Story and I kept it on top of a wardrobe. One night I was woke up by it falling off the shelf, I thought nothing of it and went back to sleep. I woke up again to find it going around in a perfect circle in the middle of my room. I stepped out of bed but as soon as my foot hit the floor it stopped. I went back to sleep. The same thing happened again, this time I picked it up and checked if it was on, nope, I checked the remote for it, didn't even have batteries. So I took it downstairs and told my parents, both looked alarmed. My dad then proceeded to go upstairs for half an hour and perform another exorcism. My sister has had a weird reoccurring thing happen to, but not devious. I think it was on the death of a respected family member that this started happening although I'm not 100% sure. Well quite often, my sister will have perfect white feathers just come out of seemingly nowhere and good things happen within 2 days. Witnessed this myself. Was walking back to her flat one day and this perfect white feather just floated infront of her and stopped, no birds around with white feathers. Within the next few days she got a promotion and an opportunity to do something she'd wanted to for a long time. I think every member of my immediate family has witnessed a similar thing with my sister and we've come to just take it for granted. As of today I haven't experienced anything outside funny feelings, a shadowy figure or two and a hand on the shoulder incident. Although moving away from home was somewhat worrying for me after learning of my parents past experiences and that weird reoccurring poltergeist shit. 2 years in and nothing weird has happened yet that can't be explained by sleep paralysis induced hallucinations. I feel retarded talking about all this, however it's what myself and my family have experienced, it's weird, I can't explain it but it's happened. I'm not religious and I'm certainly not a paranormal nut.
I'd say I had some positive experiences with the infamous shadow hat man. I was renting a room with a guy who was an aspiring musician who let met me play on his equipment which he kept in a makeshift studio in the basement inhabited by a shadowy figure. I never really had any sense of fear down there and the only paranormal stuff I might have encountered was the occasional shaking of my bed at night. I'd say I'm decently good at audio engineering and understanding how to hook up equipment to make certain sounds but have 0 musical talent. But sometimes when I was down there I'd get into sort of a trance like state and be able to produce some excellent grooves.
