When I brought up the white phospherous incident being an even worse crime, he said "that's different. I didn't know they were there."[/sp] I'm going to be grilling him on each decision he makes, not revealing until the end whether there are any alternatives or what their consequences are.

in most cases it is and some of them arent supposed to be unbanned regardless, but the G-man unbanned everybody in spammer usergroup too, so time was spent repermabanning these.
But yes, if you bust a rule after a birthday unban, it's back to perma for you.

Same, both the_jack and whitehusky got away with a normal ban tho for whatever reason.
isn't that sometimes dependent on a mod's whim? I know that Slim Charles got reperma'd for breaking the rules, but he got a second chance anyway when he made an RC appeal promising to mend his ways.
