I just really dislike the idea of lasers in my eye for some reason, I'm fine with my glasses anywho. That really sucks about your vision though :v

i mean on one hand many thousands of people have had laser eye surgery and they're probably fine
on the [I]other[/I] hand a guy in a cartoon show had his eyes fall out because of it

Honestly my eyes are supposed to get worse and worse as I age, so in order to avoid being legally blind at 40, I'd rather take a probably small risk on laser eye surgery

i'm planning on going to contacts at some point and even that's got me worried because touching my eye freaks me out. is that not an option for you?

I tried contacts, but they didn't work out. My instinct to flinch was so fucking strong it would take me like half an hour to get the motherfuckers in, and even then, one time I put them in and my eyes just started stinging constantly. We quickly gave up. Although that was several years ago, so maybe I could do it now.
When they work, they're fantastic, though. They are expensive, though, as I understand it.

Contacts are really uncomfortable for me, but I think it's one of those things you gotta get used to like wearing your glasses.

I just gave up on contacts since I can't get them on to save my life. Feels weird too.

I've been wearing glasses for over 1.5 years
I've been wearing glasses for almost 4 years.
This reminds me I need to get new glasses on Monday since my GP told me I should wear my glasses more to avoid all the minor headaches I get due to eye strain, didn't really wear them outside TV and movies due to me being short sighted.
