Mods have discretionary powers as well, not all the rules as specified in the rules threads are there in open view, and even if fast threads contains a number of bad threads, like those post yours avatar threads, they're allowed by the (shitty) standards of this place, making dumb threads about blue members only is a bad idea because you're posting in the public (blue) section of the forums. The entire forum is yours to do as you will as long as you follow the goddamn rules.
Now get it together and accept that you need to seriously lurk more, or be off.

FT is basically for quick discussion threads as well as questions that Google might not be able to answer.
It's not for weird clique-y threads that you decide to make because you felt left out of a thread that's a mix grab-bag of blues and golds (and yet for some reason you see only golds here??????).

I agree FT is not the place for it which is why I pmed a mod to discuss having it moved to gd as to not spam create the same thread.
As for it inherently being a bad thread, I just think you have the wrong opinion on it. What idea behind making a thread in which new members feel at ease to post is a bad one?
Also honestly, look at the attitude of 'adapt to our posting standards or get the fuck out' -it's why you hardly see new faces here. People are basically scared of voicing anything.

I once had this cat which used to be a stray, I used to have to watch her cause if she jumped on my bed and started doing a weird paw thing she was about to pee all over my covers. Sadly we had to get rid of her because of said issue. I picked her out and she was such a sickly thing when we got her, but she got better.
